  • MEGA Zelda Theory Time!! Does Tears of the Kingdom reveal revelations to be connected to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity which is then tied into timeline that hold Breath of the Wild at its heart? The Legend of Zelda series is very vague when it comes to FINALLY EXPLAINING all this secret lore, but with some creativity, I believe I am able to connect the timeline theory of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Age of Calamity, and Breath of the Wild.

    Yo! I can see why you were so excited about this theory on the Discord server. This theory is crazy cool.
    The title was a little confusing at first, but now that I've seen the video I understand it. I am going to insert this into my headcanon now. 👏

    Great video! I’d love to see another HW game that involves the Imprisoning War - imagine if the AOC timeline were continued to involve a fight against Ganondorf, but it involved the characters from AOC and provided some explanation along the lines of this theory. (I’ll take any new Zelda content in this timeline!!!)

    Thank you, thank you, thank you., why's everyone always hateing on AOC? The only ĹOZ with a happy ending. Brilliant game where all of the peoples 0f Hyrule stand together and defend thier world😊 Also gives the the characters legendary power levels. Best storyline of the Botw series , hands down. More importantly thou in this time-line who gets the boy? Mephia isn't killed but at the same time zelda falls for link. Does link become king of the Zora or king of Hyrule? VIdeo please 🙏 it keeps me awake at night 😢 I need Closure 😫 😂 Great work 👍

    It's an interesting theory, but I think the connections to Tears and AoC are very loose. I did want to speak of Tulin though.
    It could be that Terrako, when reaching into a future, was specifically looking for individuals with strong elemental power. While that does correlate with Sages, it isn't absolute. After all, Sidon's tablets talk about how the Zora generally have control of water implying that that all of them have it to different levels. Likewise, the Rito have the power of wind as explained by Onrest and his mini-game. The Gerudo have lightning as mentioned by Zelda to the Ancient Gerudo Sage, and the Gorons seemingly have fire. Terrako could have been reaching out to pull back those who had strong affinities with those elemental types, and thus Yunobo, Riju, Sidon, Teba, and Tulin were pulled back.
    Your explanation for why it reached out apparently over 100 years past the time it initially traveled to the past is interesting, but in the end, I don't think the AoC developers put that much thought into it. After seeing how they bumbled up their own timeline with the DLC, I have pretty low faith in them to be honest.

      Well, I'd say that most theoretical connections across Zelda games are loose. BOTW and TOTK as a direct sequel even have some continuity issues, and even that could be loose. (that's Nintendo lol) Hopping back on the Tulin stuff, I think the fact that Tulin was actually shown on-screen in the AOC cutscenes to have demonstrated some form of strong wind power at his BOTW young age in front of the alternate timeline Revali - is enough to warrant a significant connection from AOC to TOTK, as that can be foreshadowing of Tulin's abilities enhanced by the time of TOTK. I probably should have shown that footage in this video lol. Anyway, I really like what you brought up about those with strong affinities in elemental types. And since secret stones enhance those already strong elemental abilities, perhaps it was clear as day who Terrako needed to pull from the future. Man, we really freakin need TOTK DLC or AOC sequel!

      @@SkyLinkTheory In my video with Linked Wolf (he did the big Revali video that went viral a year ago), we discuss Tulin in AoC. There was some speculation that the writers of AoC knew Tulin was going to be a Sage or at least a big part of TotK.
      I would enjoy an AoC sequel, preferably based around the Imprisoning War itself. If anything, I want to see more of Ancient Hyrule.
      Here is my video about Tulin if you are interested:

      You know, I might. I recently made a video on Ganondorf's Legacy after TOTK, and it goes into a small possibility of a BOTW3 in Termina. Go check it out and share!

    Terrako was NOT made by Zelda, as it's not confirmed. We only see her activate it with the screw. Even her medieval mother making it is a stretch, it's more likely to be a modified guardian than created from scratch.

    • @TheBreadPirate
      @TheBreadPirate Před 3 měsíci +1

      Terrako is the only robot of its kind. Surely, the sheikah would have made more Terrako's, (if they indeed made him) right?
      But if you are corret, I would wager that Terrako is a HIGHLY modified guardian, which explains why he looks nothing like a normal guardian. And at that point, he might as well be a "created" guardian.

    • @Luxembourgish
      @Luxembourgish Před 3 měsíci

      @@TheBreadPirate Sure, that seems possible! I just think it wouldn't make much sense for Zelda (especially as a toddler), her mother, or the Hylians to have the knowledge to make Guardians from scratch, given Zelda's lines *"Incredible... we're at a point now where we can actually control them"* affirming that merely reactivating them was a huge feat, and *"To think that Divine Beast was made by man..."* being a total shock to their medieval society. I think the limitations of their society make the world more believable and consistent.

    So, rather than accepting Age of Calamity as non-canon, your theory is that Zelda went back and created another timeline split? And you thought this was a good idea?

    Is this supposed to explain where the Sheikah tech went in TotK? Because that isn’t really any big mystery thanks to the BS reason Nintendo gave.
