- We got back into service from a different job and we had a message from some friends that they had 2 broken jeeps out on Golden Spike Trail. They were in town grabbing parts for the one jeep but still needed a welder for the other. So Mike and I loaded up the buggy and came in through Rusty Nail Trail. We found the jeep and waiting for the people with the keys to get there. When they got there we used the steering of the jeep to force everything back into alignment and welded the tracbar bracket back to the frame. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I was the broken track bar. Rory and Mike had me fixed up and rolling in no-time. It’s a sinking feeling being that stuck so far out there. So so grateful for that service. Love you guys! Till next time…
👌
That shot from below the crack with the buggy was epic.
And just a bit scary. I'm guessing the buggy would only about half way into the crack, so there'd be room for Mike beneath it, but it could still have gone badly.
makes a great inspection point! but it is very intimidating crossing it the first time!
Award winning camera work from Mike and award winning driving from Rory. Awesome watch, fellas.
Nice 6 yrs in a row means they're living a great life on the trail. So do they have a punch card where the 6th time is free? LOL. Seriously, they're living their best life!!
Is that what they call 'Growing old disgracefully'? They sure looked like they were having fun. 😃
@@TrevorDennis100Old? They're not even 30. That's just what 6 years of rock crawling does to you. 😉🤣
"This ain't no stinking SUBWAY SANDWICH SHOP , SON! NO PUNCH CARDS FOR FREE SANDWICHES HERE! BUT THE " FREE STUFF" WILL PUNCH YOUR CARD IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL ON THE TRIAL!!!"
The guy said it’s not my fault it so long to get here , it’s the guy behind me.
That man is a successful manager somewhere !
You guys have the BEST office in the world!!!
Every time I watch an episode I think... "Man I'd love to do what they do for work!"
I swear that this crew is certainly not 100% sane just 99%. A little touch of insanity is what makes you guys fun to watch. No drama just shenanigans laughter all while doing what they do best. Thank You and as I have said don't change a thing.
Shot underneath the buggy felt like the old Star Wars intro, great job.
Rory was running that trail like he was headed to the grocery to pick up diapers and formula.😂
Rory you know ever rock on that trail. Hell you probably named them. Fun as always thanks .
Right, He will never need a spotter out there .
"To be fair" "we shall mock them!"
Perfect accents. Sounds just like my English brother-in-law.
Moab Trail Aristocrats.
Cheers!!
I luv this show as well as the Mike n Shawn show! Keep up the great work fellas!!
Mike gets the best camera shots
The level of trust between Mike and Rory is unmatched and incomparable to anybody on CZcams...
The shot from the 'crack' was awesome!!!
Holy Camera work Mike! Those Rock Pecker gods are really watching over you!
I’m thinking Rory knows these trails by heart. Much respect.
Rory should make a series of videos:
Picking lines. Few understand it, and even fewer understand how 2" can make all the difference.
Two-foot driving.
The gentle bump.
Setting up a rig for Moab. Gearing, wheelbase, width, tires, wheels, diffs, drive lines, etc.
There is probably a dozen of them or more.
Yeah that would be awesome!❤
Yes,for sure. The days of 4" lift kits, and 36" tires are long gone. They're a good start, but will Not do those trails.
I dunno. Watching his videos kind of give all that in real world up close. :)
Still, a good idea if he was inclined to do that. He is the Master of Moab Trails.
love the: i'll try not to fall on you mike answered by oh whatever xD
This crew is awesome. They do a great job and care about the environment. They are clearly the best 👍🏻🙏🏼👌🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I've been watching this channel for a few years now, but watching Rory and the boys do things with vehicles that ought not be able to be done never gets old....
Rory's throttle control when most of the time he cannot see where his wheels are or what they are doing is almost supernatural.....
Always a good day when the Buggie is out and about! What a capable ride.
Always making a job more fun one way or another. Great video guys
I just sit in amazement at how well RORY and that BUGGY go !!!
I love how Rory puts himself in some pretty precarious positions and goes into them assured he can finagle his way out when and if need be. Pretty amazing stuff!
These videos have gave me more faith in tire sidewalls😂and Rory shows again arc welding in the field only way to go...just pickup tooth picks when done😂❤
Rorie has the knowledge, he has the equipment and the completed recovery is history.
That was some spiffy camera work from down in the crack. Took a lot of trust that Rory wasn't going to slip off and fall down in there with ya. Great video guys!
Every 6-figure build needs to watch Rory and his buggy work and realize...It's not about the money.
100% Agree!!!
What a welding "HERO" and he is a Wheeler extrordair!
It was a blast to see Rory getting frisky!!! Great video work, Mike!!! Awesome editing, Josh!!! Really missed you, Shawn!!!
"Justin" is their awesome editor and friend ;)
VERY FUNNY,got me laughing very early .Calling the 4 doors mini vans nice. I often call them STATION WAGONS, it gets there goat every time,i drive a 2 door wrangler sport ,i call it a COUPE. Great laidback video, thanks for making it.
Rory, between you and Matt, we see some of the best crawling in the business. Then throw in the rescues/recoveries, just icing on the cake.
Mikes always gets great angles and shots!
Seeing Mike's camera work and Rory's driving it amazes me what you go over and through! the three of you (Shaun) always bring a smile! thanks for that! OH and keep up those little end bits!!😂
This is the 2nd time Mike blesses us with amazing video of the crack in recent years. I absolutely love creative angles like this because it gives such a different look and feel to the things we have seen many times already and keeps it super fresh. I hope you guys get your front Diff fixed so it does not leak anymore.
Rory Welds Stronger than OEM !!
Maybe, but for sure he makes better bandaids than Johnson and Johnson.
Rory & Mike to the rescue. Excellent repairs.
Awesome crack straddling! You never disappoint Rory and Mike, move’n and groove’n !😂👍
Well Rory, the neat thing is... The guys arriving last with the keys didn't have to wait for you!
A perfect job nicely done on time. 👍
Awesome rock cruising Thursday! Your content along with recoveries, trail repairs is among the best CZcams offers💚❣️ don't be humble I know you were on Car and Driver, you have a definite fan base.
🤣then along comes 10:16
Love your style, it's like a burst of creativity in every video!
Just for the amazing colors and the scenery, I would watch you, thank you.
Gday guys
Not many places around me to off-road much less rock crawl like that but damn it makes me want to drive out to Moab to play with my jeep just because I know there's guys like you that are available for hire to come out and get it fixed or get you hauled back to town. Obviously your good at what you do or they wouldn't keep calling you year after year.
We shall mock them. No right turn. Love you guys. Keep up the commentary. Thanks for sharing.
Great job driving. And great job filming…!!
You guys build Weapons! great job guys!
Thanks Mike for capturing the now iconic, for this channel, under vehicle perspective!!! Keep these footage of all the awesome tire placement on those rocks coming!!! For those whose into the physics and engineering of things, not to mention the skill and techniques which incorporates the perfect tire placement and occasional use of leverage in, on, and around the rocks should definitely watch this channel. You'll be able to get a glimpse into some of the things it takes to be a rock crawling legend like Rory. I'm being completely honest when I say that watching this footage of the wheel placement, articulation, and suspension travel, are all very meditating and relaxing for me, giving me kind of the same feelings I get when I was a child, watching the wheels on the bus go round and round but staring Rory Irish and his fleet of 4 wheeled creations!!! Haha!
Under carriage shots are great!
Your rock crawling abilities are either amazing..... or borderline insane. I'm still undecided.
The underbelly thru the crack was dope.
The buggy needs one more feature: a tube extending out over the hood with a plumb bob. I am positive that I saw over 90° angles on that ride. Your vehicles don't have tires, they have paws! Another excellent video! Thank you.
Dang.. you guys Subs trajectory is kicking azz on my July 4th prediction 👍😎✊
Near the beginning you drove by a rock with a good size space underneath, being the joker I sometime am, my thought was find a large alligator toy and stick it under there. Then I went no set up a small solar and a alien toy with glowing eyes
Another great one..the Chevy petroglyph got me
Love the underside shot of the buggy from inside the crack! You guys have the coolest office, bar none!
That is some serious terrain!
Im always tipping my phone and leaning back and forth trying to help you on the obstacles. You're welcome. 😂
Wow. Stellar driving.
To be fair, minivans are GREAT if you in a touring punk rock band. Literally went from coast to coast in them.
We didn't stop to rock crawl, though.
Do you think in the future they will find the tire marks on the walls where you crawl up and scrape and be like, this is some kind of ancient petroglyph done with rubber base paint that have lasted menials unfazed by the weather... but we haven't been able to decipher the meaning of it.
My brother had a Ram hood ornament like the one you have on your buggy and he asked me to paint it for him to look like a lifelike miniature rams head. I had it for years before I finally painted it because I did not think the paint would stick to the chrome. I finally did paint it and once finished I sprayed on about 4 coats of a satin finish and it looked pretty good. Not sure what he ever did with it I don't remember ever seeing it on any of his vehicles. He passed away last year so I can't even ask him what it did with it. He did say he like it when I gave it to him so there is that.
Love that buggy, it'll go rock crawling on the drop of a hat
Love the Letterkenny “to be fair”.
Amazing driving, great video love seeing you have fun, loved the shot of Rory bobbing up and down " hiding" A joy to watch your skill both in driving and repair.
To be fairrr. Letterkenny rocks
Mike gives us a new perspective. Thanks guys!
Great way to check what needs attention underneath. Only have to remember when you get back to the shop. Thanks for sharing
Chevy petroglyph 🥰🤩🤩!
I’m always amazed at the rough country that you guys drive through. Tell Mike to let you use his weld sleeves when you’re doing a weld out on the trail. See if you like them keep away from those hot sparks. I think you would do you well this is Paul Phillips with work thanks bye
Rory popping up and looking around little the mole from whack a mole game ! 😅😅😅
Love the banter with the boys! Minivans! Awesome!
Highly watchable rock crawling, even though Rory probably knows those rocks like the back of his hand it's still mighty impressive.
Trail repairs, great scenery, iconic crack shots … this has it all! Way to go again, guys! Stay safe out there?
Nice spool gun
Nice camera work Mike!! 6 years in a row now if you had about at least a few hundred more of those guys you would never have to worry about getting a call! 😂 which I don’t think you have that problem anyway!! Great Job Fellas!!! Great Wheelin to!
Nice job on the repair! You can never have too many crawling shots! Awesome!! I don't know if the buggy is perfect but it's one heck of a rock crawler!! The driver ain't too bad either!! LOL!!
😂😂
Works great!!!
Nice to see Laura Farms’ ride again.
The "rock's eye view" of the buggy over the crack was great!
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
See I had a more exciting scene in mind. "Mission: Impossible music. Mike is welding the driveshaft as Rory drives along the trail. See? Ha Ha. I am kidding, it was a great episode.
welding on the go 😂😂😂
Once again Mike, an excellent job of filming!!
Thought the buggy needed an oil change on the trail. 😂😂😂😂
Looks like you are REALLY racing the client 😂 Are those the welding goggles Mike had trouble with???🙃 Looks like a fun day... Thanks for sharing!
Nice work on that trail repair. That weld spot is exactly where I put my Synergy MFG sector shaft brace on my 2020 2 door manual JLR to eliminate the frame flex causing steering wander after mounting 37”s. I can definitely see that spot could get weak over time with the amount of flex I was getting prior to installing that brace.
😂 the ultimate under car footage 🤘😎🤘 hell yeah!
That six needs a turbo so that when you just get the inertia and out and creeping over an obstacle the turbo kicks in the off you go in a blaze of glory!!
Yup. Maybe right off of a 3.5 eco-boost… Start making power right off idle where Rory likes to drive….big block power from a 4.0.
11:00 That's some Hollywood level B-roll Mike. 🛻🎥🎥
Your videos should come with a disclaimer: Obstacles with Rory are Much More Difficult Than They Appear. Also, a Letterkenny reference! Bonus!
Minivans. 😂 Love your trash talk.
It still amazes me the places you take your buggy or truck.
You guys have absolutely the best shots!!!
Gets me to pucker my butt and I'm just at home, chilling!
Thanks for the video TRAILMATER
Great video. I have seen the frame side track bar mount break a few times but never the through bolt sleeve that holds the steering box that’s a new one . One more spot to check after every run on mine . Thanks for helping make my Jeep not need your service.
😂 "We shall mock them." 😂
definity meed a road grader in these bolders...!
Rory the Rescue Meerkat saves the day... what a great day you had at the office!!
holy shitsnacks ! crazy ! :)
Amazing equipment, amazing talent, and all while doing it with a smile
7018 for the win!
