31 inch screen is missing which could've been their usp. Obviously it will make more sense if someone buy the e class (inline 6 cylinder option). And interior wise I don't think bmw can match with merc.

The rear seat is still... Still not comfortable as a ciaz or a city...in terms of leg space.. we expect the leg space of a Nissan Sunny with 5 series.

Off topic but i recently learnt that Mercedes-Benz has dropped the entire EQ line up. They gave up. The bmw strategy to keep same body frame for ev and ice cars is best way. They should have given the giant 8k display in The back. That feature alone can make it sell.

I don't like it, but it's still better than the horrendous 7 series
As a long way long fan of BMW, i am disappointed by the look of the car. Still love the L shaped DRL's with the long kidney grill. Second best 5-series design after the 6th gen one.
We really need 550e version of 5 series in India ,b58 and electric motor produce impeccable power on indian roads ,still I donot like the rear seat of 5 series no magazine holder ,no vanity mirror, no press button on bottle holder on rear armrest (SWB MODEL), no luxury touches like leather on door handle atleast visually.520i is really to small for 5series ,atleast 530i is needed to start the lineup of 5er.most 5er ,I saw in instagram in European countries are 520i,I feel pathetic because g20 series of 3er start with 30i atleast in India , but bigger model has 20i cannot accept it and even car become more bigger then it at least need a i6 to pull ,these all done for the sake of climate change propaganda and production of electric car uses more pollution than a combustion engine car produce pollution on its all period.

To be honest, out of all the new BMWs that have come out, the X5, 5 Series and the regular 3 Series (not M3), are the only ones that look good. Especially the 3 Series. That has to be the best looking. All the other releases are either average or just plain ugly. Also is it just me or do the wheel look too small even though they are 18 inchers?
Mercedes still has the upper hand in terms of looks with the E class no doubt this new gen 5 series looks way better than the 7 series but like Faisal said it is nowhere near as sexy as the G30 or the E60 and about the E class with how sleek it looks from the rear it sure will give a tough competition to each other

BMW giving only 2 litre engine option in 5 series whereas mercedes offer 2 & 3 litre engine option in their LWB E class Well done BMW 👏.
Next gen 5 series will be launched with 1 litre engine who knows😂.
Earlier around 7 to 10 years back they had DRL iconic and branded Squircle ( circle + square) and I heard in an interview from BMW design team the most attractive thing was this.
Now this has reduced to semi circle, quarter circles now looks inverted moustache.
Similar Kidney grill has become a shape of obese belli fat.
The BMW present design team doesn't understand how bad it looks.
I think VW is best for styling including their own products , Skoda and Audi
