@@GoodGamer3000 Well Minecraft is a software so they might ban the downloading of it but people with Minecraft already installed can still use it. What would most likely happen would be the banning of the IP of the server from those countries but then you would still be able to download the map itself meaning you would have the map permanently on your computer.
@@cacona6191, if they're serious enough, they could ban the downloading of Minecraft itself, ban people from downloading anything Minecraft related, and ban the connection to any Minecraft servers.

The fact that they took an innocent computer game that’s about punching trees and fighting zombies, and turned it into a serious build that is very powerful and insane is amazing. I’m seriously flabbergasted. Furthermore they made it about important world problems by using Minecraft as a platform. Wow.

I was moved to tears when Jordan spoke so respectfully and earnestly of the journalists killed in Mexico. As a Mexican person myself, I give my upmost respect to Jordan for the seriousness and honesty he brought to the video. Thank you.
I was surprised to see Mexico in there, but then I remembered the cartels and how the government is almost powerless against them. It's very sad indeed, and a stark reminder that it's not only the government that can oppress the people.
But when someone mysteriously disappears/ dies. The government really won’t do a lot to investigate because of who they assumed killed that person.

This is one of the most heartwarming uses of Minecraft I've seen, it really gives a lot of perspective into the real world, and the effort people are willing to give for something really important. Faith in humanity has been restored once again.
That too it has been restored through a game that everyone loves. Truly impressive.

That room dedicated to Reporters Without Borders game me chills. I kinda interpreted the floating blocks as the souls of reporters all over the world, the yellow colour showing the passion and hope burning within them. It really shows that while we can do our part and help change the world, it'll take all of us, working together to piece together the truths about our world.
The word you were kooking for in relation to the Mexico room was either monument or memorial, I'd like to call it a monument as that's generally used when the sculpture is representing a person of greatness which those reporters definitely all are

Arabic is primarily a spoken language, so much so that most English to Arabic translators fail to work correctly, even with thousands of people correcting and contributing, like in Google's case. Adding such a complicated language to a game like Minecraft, with such a large playerbase and difficult, infrequently-used words, wouldn't be worth all the confusion. That's also part of the reason why Blockworks used the music disk Audio tracks.
There's probably a mod somewhere that has added the arabic language to minecraft. If not, I wouldn't be surpised if the creators of this map got to work on that.

The outro song for the video is usually really loud and crazy so I immediately go back to the home screen, but I was very pleased to hear some soft slow music at the end to wrap up this wholesome video :)

In Norway you can literally say anything without getting punished, while in some countries you can be punished with death if you just talk trash about the president. Like you can see in the Mexican room, you can see plenty of writers that've been killed for leaking information that the government were hiding, or by actively criticising mafia groups/the government.

This is a beautiful idea all around. Minecraft is a great way to share ideas and create movements and communities.
Minecraft to study to become more real and serious. I love our community and how we work together despite Where we come from. Some kids had a graduation in Minecraft because they couldn’t have in real life to the quarantine. People are working together to me a 1:1 scale of earth. It’s insane

It's a double-edged sword. More people living in censorship-heavy areas will know where they can get some uncensored information, but if it gets too much publicity then the map and server (or even Minecraft itself) can easily get banned, which brings us back to square one.
While it is a double edged sword, but the Blockworks has provided a download link to the map. So, I had mirrored the map onto my own server just to provide another way people can view the library incase the main server gets banned. I highly recommend mirroring the map. It's only less than a 80 megabyte download.
I think we should do what the Tor project does with free bridges and have mirrors on different servers be put on a list and have it so that you need to send an email and it'll give you one of the mirrors
Cloroxide I believe it does more good than bad.This exposure is not only revealing information countries are hiding but also shining a light in and making people realize they are not being told the truth.

from what i gathered from other comments here, banned literally every single book except one written by a ruthless leader. also banned an entire language (which was either english or russian, but the person wasn't sure wich one)
You should research, its crazy that it doesnt get as much attention as north korea even thought id say they are worse

NK doesn't release a lot of information so I guess that is why Turkmenistan is lower than NK

This is the coolest idea I've ever seen in Minecraft, I never would've thought of using books in Minecraft to convey anything from the real world. And it just looks incredible.

EZ Axios Its basically a version of Bedrock tied to your personal information, social credit system and has minor changes like skeletons being changed to a zombies/litch variant and with less gore. You also cant connect to non chinese servers.
