SPECIAL EVENT: Highlights of FGS Bayern's Visit to Western Australia

The visit of the FGS Bayern to Australia marked an important milestone in Australia-Germany relations being the first German navy ship to do so since 1988. Berthed at Fremantle for a period of a week the frigate's presence culminated in a series of diplomatic engagements that served to meaningfully enhance bilateral ties between the two countries. The legacy of this historic visit as a prelude that coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 2022 is appropriately encapsulated in this production.
