What is the WORST Pokemon Type?

- Hi, I'm DinerSlug and I have a burning curiosity about the Pokemon world, a question I need answered. In the wide world of Pokemon, every region, every game, the question has always stood what is the WORST Type Combo? Could it be the frail ice type, the aging psychic type, or some shocking revelation like the fire type. For the answer to that we will have to find out together.

Love the video, but I think because moves have types, those moves should be considered with types
I’ve grown to like Normal a lot. Yes, it can’t hit ghost types but hitting things hard neutrally I feel is kinda its gimmick. Return/Frustration, Fake Out, Facade, Explosion, Extreme Speed and more are all great, even on Pokemon that aren’t Normal themselves. Pokemon with scrappy just makes it better. Mega Lop is my go to physical attacker for my teams because of that (national dex player btw).
I think the normal type is amazing to, things like slaking, Regigigas, Obstagoon, Bewear, the Porygon line, Ursaluna even Arceus themselves I love them all and all have their own niche and I think that’s really cool it’s just like looking how they interact with other types normal type is a weird case but that’s what makes them special
As a type in a vacuum I would consider normal weak
But when looking at learnsets and the pokemon within that type normal is incredible
In essence, normal is only as good as the pokemon to a higher degree than other types
I think normal is looking at the chart of type matchups is not good, but as soon as the outer limits of it are talked about with Arceus, Regigigas, and Terapagos, and heck even the non legendary/mythic Ursaluna, Slaking, Chansey/Blissey are great mons so I think normal type is just so interesting to talk about with how so many people can have unique ideas for where it gets placed
Off hand I was thinking bug/ice like Frosmass or grass/ice w/ Abamasnow

Really cool video! But you should try to filter out the background hum in the first part. I watched the video on second monitor and it got very annoying over time. Maybe you can try filtering it out with audacity or something. Looking forward to your next video :)
Yeah it was my first time recording and thought it would be okay to have my fan on, learned to never do it again, sorry for the humming but I can assure you never gonna happen again
it will always be rock to me. for the type that is meant to be defensive it is horrible at it, with all its common weakness's. its almost always a downgrade if duel typed Pokemon have rock typing
Yeah rock absolutely has too many glaring weaknesses defensively, I didn’t mention it in the video but it’s one of the only types Game Freak has openly buffed in later gens with Sandstorm now boosting Rocks Special Defense by 1.5 because even they knew it was too horribly weak
What do you mean by ,,causing it to deal only 25% damage'' at 12:55? Do you think that body slam used by drampa is both dragon and normal type move?
No but I see what you mean, yeah I mean that steel resists both dragon and normal but yeah I did that phrase that in a bad way, my bad

I think normal is a terrible typing that just has good moves most of the best normal types are not good do to the offensive merits of the normal on paper but by the broken move the normal type gets stab on like extreme speed facade boomburst heal bell ect
I knew Bug was one of the worst types, graAss is not a surpricing choice

Imo, Rock/Steel has too many weaknesses and So Does Rock/Dark.
I love Ice types and don't hate them as much as most people do
but Grass/Ice has too many weaknesses as well 🤔
Yeah Grass Ice was a serious candidate for the worst defensive typing but just barely took second place, Rock Steel does definitely lack in some places too just kinda feels like a worse Rock/Ground but still at least the mons that have it are really cool (Bastiodon and Aggron)
