- During this quarantine my puppy Rue has been just as bored as me some days. So I thought of buying a snuffle mat to help keep him entertained, but thought I should try just making it instead. And voila, here it is! This took me a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
This is my first time creating a CZcams video so please give feedback on what I could do better in the comments below! 💕

Thanks for the clear explanation of how to make this creative idea ti encourage our pets enjoyment of hunting for their food.
Thank you for sharing and especially for not speaking so fast that I have to rewind all the time. I can’t wait to make chis.
WOW! Great video. Thanks so much. You explained this project so well and I appreciated seeing all the steps and how it turned out. (Nice 'in-use' demo at the end too. Your puppy is adorable.)
Thank you! This is the most informative video I’ve found! I’m ready to jump in feeling confident I understand after watching your tutorial! ❤
Loved thecudea if this mat and will definitely be making a few of them .
I like the fact that the knots are tied to it and just not pull through because then it can’t fall apart in the wash.
So ORIGINAL and CREATIVE! Have watched a half dozen of these diy snuffle mat videos and this is by far the best, easiest and most practical!! No base mat required!!! Thank you for your fresh approach and we love Rue🙃🥰😉
I really love this, thank you for sharing. I didn't want to use a plastic mat for health and safety reasons and your tutorial is the perfect solution and easy to follow. 👍👍
So excited to get started on 10 of these for my 5 dogs and 5 pigs 🐷 🐶
Adorable, and so easy! Can't wait to make some for the doggies in my family! You did a great job explaining and showing how to put a Snuffle Matt together. I've watched other videos, but you get right to the point, not talking too much, just instructing. I like the looks of this matt the best, and there is no base needed, PLUS it's washable. Good job!
Thank you so much for the video and I love that you showed it without using a rubber mat. Great video!! Appreciate you taking the time to help the rest of us figure it out.😊
I LOVE your technique! No plastic mat!!! Great video, just wish I could send you some small extra sharp scissors to make the slits. ❤️
LOVE! I was thinking about using a cheap dollar tree cutting mat or placemat as the base. You saved me a trip to town def!
SEWING GURUS: Do you know of any fabrics that should NOT be used? I have tons of fabric, but I don’t know much about how they would hold up after time. If fleece is the best/only option, I will go with that. I was toying with the idea of maybe some old beach towels or stained bathroom towels. But, like I said - I do have a large variety of materials bc of my junk journaling hobby 😂
Love this idea of making it out of the blanket
Thanks so much for this. I have 2 cattle dogs and 2 fleece blankets they have chewed!
Great video! Great creation!
Hey. I can see you did your dogmat a bit differently than others i've seen.
Where they knottet it first and then pulled only the snips through, leaving the knots underneath, you knottet yours on top. This left me wondering what difference that would make in the 'difficulty level' for the dog. The snips only version looked like some dogs would not have to work very hard and might not spend as much time on finding the food/treats.
Question being, do you perchance have both kinds and is there a difference in how diffucult/fun these are for dogs to use.
Love your vid! Thx for sharing! :)
Nice and clear. Thank you.
Good idea, keep it up
Beautiful 👍🏼
Maybe working from the middle outward wd make tying the last ones easier 😎 (klmsCrazy4dogs 😉)
