Even the scooter is dirty LOL
I tried it on the dirt roads 😂 not made for that tho
@@DirtyTesla you don't have to break it the first time using it lol.
Use an old folding camp chair bag. Everyone has a couple of those in the garage.
Wow great idea!
Funny that you post this. On the road trip last week, the people plugged in next to us came riding up on their scooters. Seemed like a pretty cool idea.
I never thought I'd see you on a scooter! 😂🎉
Same 😂😂
Super compact. I'm looking for some folding scooters to carry with me in my Mooney's baggage area for my wife and me. This might be the perfect one. Wish it had more range and higher speed, but it's probably plenty.
I feel like 12 miles is a lot... i wouldn't want to go 12 miles on this thing (out and back) lol... but, ya gotta think about using it when it's maybe not fully charged :)
You're right. That's 5-6 miles one way. I just need enough to make it to a hotel/food. Does it come with a wall charger or just the 12V charger?@@DirtyTesla
That's kind of a great idea. I like how compact it is and that you can charge with the 12v socket. This scooter could have came in handy several times on our road trips. The only problem I would have with it is that both the electronic brake and throttle look exactly the same and the brake isn't even regenerative. Oh, and the price is a bit steep for the specs you get.
I wonder how a 6'2" 230 lb guy would do😂
10lbs over the limit so... Fine! 😂
@DirtyTesla we're good to go man🤩😍😂
does it show how much range or battery you have left? want to be sure you can make it back to where you left from.
Yeah in bars.
did you say what the range was, because l didn't hear it
It's about 12miles/20km
I love mine
What is the weight rating on this thing? I've got a dad bod going on😅
Get a Onewheel my man!
How do you charge it from the tesla?
With the 12 volt socket in the rear of a Model Y or X. You'll have to use the center console socket in the Model 3 and S.
😍
I definitely like the ability to quickly get to/from somewhere somewhat close, especially while supercharging.
What I don't like, is...
Trusting something like this locked up with a bike lock or similar or having to carry it. If I'm carrying something back to my vehicle with me then there's really no where to put anything while scooting back to my vehicle.
If there's one or more others with you then you need more scooters or they get left behind. (What about charging two+ scooters in your vehicle...)
If I'm going to grab a quick something to eat at a supercharger stop then I'd probably prefer to charge then go to get food - unless the place(s) to get food are close enough to just walk, preferably without those supercharger idle fees. (I kinda forgot about them.)
According to their website there's a hook that can supposedly carry about 22 pounds, which would make carrying back a shopping bag of snacks and bottled drinks doable.
🤣Yeah, no... happen not gonna!
I read your initial comment...
The electronic brake and throttle looking the same is actually not a problem at all. They don't need to look different.
A scooter doesn't need to have regenerative braking.
I'd pay the cost for a scooter like this any day ... and I want to start a business helping people 'save' money.
@@BrianJoslyn I can see someone wanting to brake when they see a pothole in the road all of a sudden and in a panic hit the wrong button. Our ebikes have a thumb throttle on the left which is the opposite on this scooter. They could have made them in different colors, like red for brakes, for example. So yeah they should be different in some way. I do agree with you on trusting that hook though.
I wouldn't buy a scooter that looks childish by having color coded controls - unless it's a scooter made for kids specifically. It helps to know the controls well enough before using bikes, scooters, anything, in public. Just as there are even factors of driving any vehicle that are best to know before driving on public roads, streets, interstates...
To be specific, as well as more... appropriate, the brakes should be hand brakes - just as they are hand brakes on bikes, motorcycles, 3 and 4 wheelers - even non-electric scooters.
If you 'get' not trusting that hook then why did you even bother replying to me...
@@BrianJoslyn Calm down. What's wrong with a simple reply. This is a social network after all. It's not like it was a hateful reply. 🙄

Looking at you Chris I would say that you're fairly slim?? Riding around on an electric scooter instead of walking from your car to a rest stop is a sure way to put on the pounds, walk more, eat less junk food, you never know you might just live to see seventy. Look around at other people of your age group & see how overweight they are, poor diet & no exercise will kill them very quickly.
Dangerous design defect. Ever since the original razor scooter came out, orthopedic surgeons and dentists have seen an increase in maxi-facial, head, and wrist/shoulder injuries along with skinned knees. Why you ask? Look at the ridiculously small and skinny front tire in these things. In that parking lot where Chris started his demo ride you can see the extensive array of cracks and fissures and blowouts in the pavement that have been repaired. Now imagine what that lot was like before it was patched up. Even small cracks, expansion joints, and little holes and ridges can grab that tiny wheel and toss you off the side, or worse yet, vault you over the handlebars. If you use your arms to break your fall you risk fracturing your wrist (Cole’s Fracture) or dislocating your shoulder. If you don’t catch your fall it’s a face plant on asphalt. That’s probably enough to describe why I would never buy one of these things. You can get fold up bikes that have much larger wheels that, while bigger, would still fit in your trunk and be a lot safer.
Good point. Hard pass
very expensive!!! sad
scooter finally arrive WITH COMPLETELY DEAD BATTERY THAT WILL NOT CHARGE
noone responding from customer service.
this is RIDICULOUS!!!
Send me an email dirtyteslayt @ Gmail I'll get you in contact with someone 👍
For 700$ you can get a much better and safer (bigger wheels) electric scooter.
