  • On Saturday, August 26 at 3:27 a.m. ET (07:27 UTC), Falcon 9 launched Dragon’s seventh operational human spaceflight mission (Crew-7) to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
    Dragon will autonomously dock with the space station on Sunday, August 27 at approximately 8:39 a.m. ET (12:39 UTC). Follow Dragon and the crew’s flight below.
    During their time on the orbiting laboratory, the crew will conduct science and technology demonstrations to prepare for human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and to benefit humanity on Earth, in addition to space station maintenance activities.
    The webcast will resume approximately two hours prior to docking.

    SpaceX has now launched 42 humans into orbit, all within 3 years!
    Congrats NASA and SpaceX on a successful launch of Crew-7,
    that entry burn was shorter than I expected, but we had another picture perfect landing.

      Congratulations to NASA? For WHAT!? 7 Decades of hundreds of trillions of wasted taxpayer's dollars -- with ZERO interest in saving a penny.
      7 decades of dumping tens of trillions of taxpayer's dollars in the ocean -- and STILL DOING IT without any thought of a responsible attitude.
      7 decades of overstaffed, over paid, OLD MEN abd WOMEN who's knowledge is of NO USE in today's world but NO ONE CARES and they are retained.
      7 decades of totally useless "ADMINISTRATORS" Administration NASA has plenty of - and what good has it done. With a young MANAGER we could have been on Mars 25 years ago and the moon would have been colonised by the mid 70s --- with no more funds than they have already had.
      Yes, NASA have conned taxpayer's out of hundreds of trillions of dollars and CRIMINALLY WASTED EVERY CENT -- AND ARE STILL GETTING AWAY WITH IT!
      Just look at NASA'S current "Tax Waster" the EIGHTY YEAR OLD Bill Nelson!! A Biden look-alike, sound-alike who like Biden cannot even read a teleprompter without stumbling. Cannot answer a straight question without bringing up ancient anecdotes and then doesn't give an answer. YET ANOTHER TOTAL WASTE OF TAXPAYER'S DOLLARS--- BECAUSE HIS ONLY "QUALIFICATION" FOR THE JOB IS HE IS A FRIEND OF BIDEN.
      Yes SEVEN DECADES of CRIMINAL waste of taxpayer's dollars.
      Nasa MUST be broken up and sold to private entrrprise and the funds given back to US "1960- 2022 TAXPAYERS ONLY"
      ONLY TAXPAYERS!

    I have the privilege of sitting in my backyard and enjoy space x launches. This one was one of the most spectacular launches I've seen. No clouds, beautiful clear sky, there where many visible phenomena going on... at one point I freaked thinking there was an explosion . I even thought I saw an apparent UAP not far from falcon 9 just prior to MECO ... it was one in a million launch... Let's go Space x....

    • @TraditionalAnglican

      @DSE8991 Před 10 měsíci +3

      @@TraditionalAnglican Yeah that might be it. The most recent similar RTLS crew launch, AX-2 had something like 12 sec entry burn so I thought this time was a failure. If they managed to achieve even more mission optimization it's really impressive....if this entry burn was a failed one, this was probably the most impressive F9 recovery so far.
