  • This is a recently completed home for one of our builders, we worked with the client to provide a solution to provide heating and cooling to there architectural home. With minimal roof space, two story and not wanting to detract form the features of this home. The traditional ducted A/C system wouldn't fit with out changing the roof structure and bulk heads would need to be made, as well as dropper duct to get the condition air to the lower floors taking up valuable floor/cupboard space. The solution was a Daikin VRV bulkhead system, build in the cabinetry and walls so it didn't detract from the style of the home. This also provided the owners with individual temp control with in each space, the ability to just have the rooms and areas they were using running. The Daikin VRV bulkhead system is energy efficient way to provide heating and cooling as there is no duct losses or indoor unit running outside the condition environment so less leakage of heat / cool. Excellent option for passive homes as the indoor unit is with in the conditioned space with the ability to complete sealed off the system so there is no air leakage except for the 20mm drain pipe.

Hi Craig, how much space needs to be left around the perimeter of one of these units for safety? Trying to figure out if this type of cooling fits in our space and is right for us. Thanks!

Hi, great video I have the daikin bulkheads, I find them noisy as I can here the refrigerant gurgling and bubbling when the compressor is running, Daikin said its normal but I think it's really loud. Any feedback or advice? Has anyone complained about this before. Thanks!

Is it a VRV system or multi head system, is the noise when your unit is on or off.
      thanks
