So "Valkyrie" hacks the enemy ship's shields, Jake gets a shot off with the experimental weapon, the enemy explodes, outshining the stars, and a few seconds later the enemy ship is back, Valkyrie hacks the shields again, Jake gets off an experimental weapon shot again, the ship blows up like a nova, again. Ugh.

I just listened to a shorter, and slightly different version of this story on this channel. The aliens were Saurians instead of Deltans and the ship was the "UES Defiant" instead of "Intrepid", and no Jake whatever.

this one is longer. others were about 15 minutes.
