I recently bought the backbone and it’s pretty great out of the box the configuration is great with most games I haven’t needed to configure any settings to feel like I’m playing on console. The only thing I don’t like is where the start and select bottom are located I have big hands and there uncomfortable for me to try and press

These look so cool but I don't think I can justify buying these for roughly $100 since I more often than not won't use them

I have the backbone and used my iPhone 13 Pro Max. But I upgraded to the 15 max pro and it isn’t comparable. But I’m not upgrading the the newer backbone. Instead I just use Bluetooth and connect my Xbox controller and play games that way. Plus I don’t need to take the phone out of its case.
New backbone version alows to fit iphone with the case. Also with Bacbone you can have a screen closer to your eyes than with bluetooth controller. Also there is a bit more lag when connecting with bletooth instead USB-c port.

Man, I got the iPhone 15 pro Max one terabyte storage in the Backbone one controller I wish I knew how you guys all did it without making your phone overheat and causing lag with this so I can play with this I can’t get gameplay without overheating and lagging. yeah, I could use another controller with my shark fan cooler but I don’t want to. I bought the Backbone one for this game alone defeats the whole purpose of buying the Backbone.
How do you make the controller use the touch pad controllers? Would this work on games like LOL Wild Rift?
Just got mine and I have four immediate issues with it
- For the price, it feels cheaply made
- The raised cameras on the back of the 15th gen iPhones were not accounted for at all so my the phone sits awkwardly, the left side higher than the right side. Odd considering it’s “made for” new gen iPhones
- It isn’t compatible with phone cases
- You have to pay for a subscription to get half the features advertised as standard(incredibly scummy)

Did you have problems connecting the backbone? It’s not working when I plug my iPhone 15 promax, nothing works and the app and software are up to date

Can the remote and iPhone 15 pro max be used with a case? Or is it necessary to remove the cover?
You have to remove the case unfortunately. I was sad you had to, because I didn’t have to with the 14 Pro (not max) using the Lightning connector model.

There is a 2nd generation of these now where you no longer need to remove the case.
Technically you could and I have with my 15 pro max but I think long term it might damage the backbone or the phone

Which part is confusing? It’s just the USB C model, if that helps.
@@techbandicoot I thought there might have been another version of the backbone. I’m still debating if it’s worth it to buy the unit and a carrying case. It’s $140 in China.
@lorenzo575 oh got it! There are two versions, the original and the “2nd Gen.” it’s worth getting the 2nd Gen model as it works better with phones with a case

Yeh I just got my backbone one and honestly touchscreen is way better for aiming faster and more accurate and natural feeling, it’s a shame phones don’t have 3D Touch anymore, cos you could just go presss harder on the screen to shoot. I’ll mess around with the sensitivity settings but I’m not sure this controller is gonna make me player better.

Who? Backbone? You don’t have to pay the fee to use the controller, just the Backbone app. I don’t pay the fee, and I use it to play all kinds of games.

It does fit quite well, though not with a case
I just bought it and I put my 15 promax in it the camera sits really snug on the back part of it so I’m not sure if it’ll scratch it

@@darren3523 yes I recently purchased the android model and I thought it was the second GEN which it wasn’t. There’s a difference between the GEN one and the G2 GEN one being you can’t use it with a case and gen 2 you can so BUYER BEWARE , fyi

There was no update. The BackBone One with USB-C is the exact same one that was used on Android before. No change.
