I'm a xenophile myself, so I see nothing wrong with a little interspecies freaky-deaky. If the aliens show up on earth I hope their females are sexy and DTF. As long as they're attractive enough to be füçkable, have a good personality, are actually a female and not a hermaphrodite or something weird like that, and don't give humans a weird alien STD or eat us after the deed, I'd be more than willing to step out with an alien female if she was interested. Odin knows human females aren't wørth śhït, much less my time.
its been done before in the The Voyage Home, the one there looks fine, I think if they did it in a similar way to Catkind from Doctor Who, which also used prosthetics but with more room for the actor to emote it would look good
The show is actually surprisingly good for both character and lore... It uses them to help its loving deconstruction. Its pretty solidly great from like the third episode onwards.
What's stopping you? Give it a shot! Though I recommend starting with episode 3 and 4 as they give you a better introduction to the characters than 1 and 2 do.

No wonder he doesn't move that much. (also I think they are making a subtle art joke about STTAS) edit- also if Kzin are 3 hassles worth of art, Caitians are 2 hassles
It is to bad they do NOT draw the Kzinti as he should be drawn! The TAS Kzinti were a joke! A real Kzinti would be a 9 foot tall, tiger striped, barrel chested, naked rat tailed cat standing on his hind legs. He would be brave, obsessed with honor even more than a Klingon and a bit reckless as in Kzinti in fights tend to "Scream and Leap". About the ONLY thing Star Trek got right were the Umbrella/Bat like ears that fold out of the way when they are fighting.

For example the Kzinti Chief of Security on the Space Station that is the setting for the Star Trek Fan Fiction Stories I write is called Security Chief. So the Kzinti Officer's name would be his job title, Cleaner of Bathrooms, Wearer of the Red Shirt, etc.
