Where on each trail you thing the best scenic camp sites are at as well as the best hostel sites are at. This will help future hikers. I’ve done both trails invisible ; so please give us your impressions.

You don’t talk about the snow or the river crossings on the pct.

Depends on when you start your hike. A-T Hike starting in January will be different then if starting northbound in early May. Also each year different. Have to embrace any weather you get and to be happy your not at work. Don`t bail because of bad weather embrace it!

Bottom line on the AT you can showup, hike and quit.
On the PCT, you don't have it together you can die.
Just keeping it real for us novices and solo hikers.
