Most Haunted Abandoned Mansion In The Philippines | Villa Epifania (Caught Demon)

- In the 1930s, Villa Epifania emerged as an architectural gem in the heart of Floridablanca, Pampanga. Its name pays homage to Dona Epifania from the illustrious Alvendias clan. Originally, the land on which the villa stands was the pride of the Guanzon family, with Captain Pitong, the Capitan Municipal of Santa Rita, as its patriarch. The baton was later passed to his son, Don Olympio Guanzon, who constructed a house there in 1925. This house, however, was later dismantled to make way for the villa, brought to life by Architect Mariano Pineda, a kin of the Guanzons. Amidst the chaos of World War II, the villa provided refuge, serving as the command center for Japanese officers, USAFE guerillas, and local leaders.
A beacon of modernity between 1931 and 1932, Villa Epifania set itself apart, being the sole entirely concrete residence in town. Its architecture is robust, with walls as thick as a foot and a unique gallery of windows gracing its western facade. Further adding to its charm is the azotea, which grants viewers a scenic vista of the western agricultural expanse, land once overseen by prestigious clans like the Guanzons. The villa also showcases Philippine hardwood sections, and its grand furniture, sourced in 1931 from the Philippine Carnival in Manila, is said to be the handiwork of Bilibid prison inmates. Architectural highlights like colored glass fixtures, a granite stairway, a majestic veranda, and ornate pillars make it a sight to behold. With a construction expense hitting 90,000 pesos, its significance was further immortalized in famous filipino horror films.
Whispers and tales of the villa's past keep the locals intrigued. While some recall its wartime significance as a haven for Japanese soldiers, others recount more harrowing tales of the town's inhabitants suffering unspeakable atrocities within its walls. These tragic episodes are believed to have given rise to restless spirits, casting a shadow on the villa's beauty and making it a beacon for both awe-inspiring architecture and chilling legends.

It's eerie to see the previous owners' portraits from 100 years ago still hanging on the walls of that house. This house has a captivating yet unsettling history. It makes one wonder what stories are hidden within its walls, despite the uneasy feeling it may bring.
Hi steve! Thank you for comimg back in the Philipines. Your videos are always amazing. I just discovered Zarckaroo's videos recently, then I thought to myself, you resembled each other. To find out that you're relatives😅 I always watch your videos, even though the very first urbex I watched and loved was Josh ( Exploringwithjosh)😅. I just wanted to say, keep creating amazing contents and please always take care everywhere you explore. We're proud that we have a fellow Filipino urbex who is known in the US and then Zarck here in the Philippines. You guys rock! Hi Steve so happy to see you feature this in one on your ghost quest, I got the attention of your rampod on time *30:36* saying "CAVE" I just saw one video of the famous paranormal investigator w/ 3rd eye Sir Ed Caluag and he was also exploring this place, he saw a vision & came upon a underground dungeon and he was lured by the entity to enter it. He did sense a very dark entity & had unpleasant visions in that place it was so bad he stop the investigation. Just connecting these 2 it seems connected in a creepy way. Enjoy your stay here & be safe 😊🙏
Interesting adventure to start your Philippine series. I have a home in Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines so will have to visit that villa in the future. Thanks for sharing.

Try in Laperal and Diplomat Hotel Steve there's a lot of Hunted Places there in Baguio. Also the Intramuros and Clark Air Base Hospital. ❤ Glad you visited Philippines! Enjoy your stay!
Restaurant na yung Laperal ngayon but pwede parin naman nyang puntahan pero yung sa Clark kung hindi ako nagkakamali gagawin na syang museum so baka di na nya ma explore yun pwera nalang pag natapos na

Hi Steve! I'm watching from Malaysia🇲🇾 stay safe and healthy Steve❤
Very interesting. In 1980 my sociology prof would speak to spirits through a medium. His entire course was mainly devoted to spirits, reincarnation etc. His view was spirits were often stuck in between realms and had to 'move toward the light'. He would in effect clear a space of spirit(s) by asking them to move to toward the light (next step in existance?). He would tell us spirits stuck in a place may not often realize they've died. Have you considered doing something along the lines of pointing out to spirits they need to move toward the light ... to their next plane of existance? Great video. Cheers.
Welcome back to the Philippines Steve, Mabuhay!!! Love watching your videos here from Baguio City, Philippines😊

I don't know if you notice it Steve but when you first got into the master's bedroom the curtain already move the one near the pillow you can check time stamp 11:20 - 11:26 and I notice that the windows are close so that could be an indication that somebody might be in there and not only that because if it is a wind coming from the window it should also move the other curtain even if they are wrap tight in that pole but only that curtain is moving.
Saw that too.
Hi Steve! Suggestion: maybe you guys should learn how to decode Morse code--maybe you can decode the message behind those beeps from your equipment as the spirits interacts and answer through your equipments. Love your videos always!
