I feel as though if you were to eliminate the lyrics and only focus on the instrumental, you'd think it's more of a happy song with how airy and bouncy the instrumentals feel. It's like Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People, a cheery instrumental feel with dark lyrics
Hell yeah sick song, definitely a massive fan. They were great when they came over for the Polaris tour just before covid. Absolutely rate their live show very hype.
