"Gol-e-Aftabgardon" means sunflower. The sunflower (the lover) is hopeful to see and reunion with her love and companion (the sun), even though she is aware of the distance and that black clouds prevent them from reunion. The singer, who witnesses this separation, wants to clear the sky from dark clouds and make them rain and water the sunflowers of hope. So that the rain washes the tear from the cheeks of everyone and fills up houses with joy.

He is an expert musician song writer and singer and all of new generation of singers in iran have told that shadmehr aghili is idol and inspired them for being a singer.
He is one of the first pop singers in iran after the revolution that was something special.

Since appreciate really good vocalists I hope you make time for Eva Cassidy. Her voice is clear and angelic. Eva wanted to play her music in pure and simple terms. Just her voice and guitar. But record executives wanted to add more production to her music for commercial sales. Sadly, Eva passed away in 1995 as she finding success on her own terms. But the magic is still there. This is more like a high school music project; it's as if a music teacher was in a hurry to bring in all the students to play together and did not have time to put much effort into it, the vocals are not harmonized; there is no counterpoint; just 100 instruments playing the same notes.

@@persiancat137 I may not be Perisan but I've lived in Iran (before the revolution) and I know a thing or two about Persian music; in fact, if you call this Persian music then I bet I know more than you about Persian music. This is a song in the western pop style with Persian lyrics, that's all. Do you see any Persian instruments? Are they singing in a Dastgah? Are the vocals in classical Persian style? no, no and no. Now I suggest you listen to arragements by the likes of Varoojan, Andranik, Cheshmazar to find out how a western pop style song is arranged and orchestrated, even if it's sung in Farsi, then you'd understand what I'm talking about. And don't ever tell anyone to stop commenting, learn to listen to other people's opinions, and argue with reason and respect.
