I've read the novel and found out that Dorian Gray was a man with golden locks, blue eyes. I'm glad the movie didn't make Ben to be blonde one. I don't mean being racist one but, I've seen the edited picture of Ben Barnes being blonde and I decided that I don't really like it.

There are many Dorian Gray movies but the only Dorian Gray movie that I like best is the one with Ben Barnes, Dorian Gray 2010 movie, the story and character suits well with Ben Barnes.

I made my mum (who loves O.Wilde) watch the movie and when it started she went "Oh, that's Caspian!" and when the decadent part started she went "Where did Caspian go?" I died laughing.

When he talked about the book's subtleties and such, he sounded almost exactly like my english teacher. But, OH, was it different.....
he was abscolutely amazing in that part and really deserves an oscar.the movie is perfect.
he was such a good actor in that movie. he did an amazing job,and now i saw it,i think that it is one of the best movie we can see actually. congratulations to him,he deserves it.

But yeah, my favourite book of all time, as a film, with Ben Barnes as Dorian was already made of win. But hearing him actually discuss the book (and saying Faustian) just made me fall in love with him...
He did such an excellant job in the movie. He is a talented actor and very hot as well.
I was sad that they didn't stick closer to the original story, but Ben Barnes made a good Dorian. I was impressed.

So we came looking for him to be Dorian Gray. Ben Barnes has something to be proud of, he took up the challenge and gave a humanity to Dorian Gray that he doesn't have in the book. Everything he says is interesting, the Monday morning anecdote with this embarrassed side. Ben Barnes is exceptional.
On est donc venu le chercher pour être Dorian Gray. Ben Barnes a de quoi être fier, il a relevé le challenge et donné une humanité à Dorian Gray qu'il n'a pas dans le livre. Tout ce qu'il dit est intéressant, l'anecdote du lundi matin avec ce côté gêné. Ben Barnes est exceptionnel.

heey can someone tell me who acctually curses dorian..i mean...henry is his coach and he teaches him basiclly everything about being a player loving sex, drugs and alchohol and then suddenly this curse, i stayed with the illusion that henry put the curse on dorian but apperently i'm wrong, could someone explain.!!!plz

How can there be not a single story in the history of movies, tv and literature about an individual who is chronologically circa 35 or 36 who still looks 12 or 13? I know I saw such a tale on black-and-white tv in the 1950s or 1960s wherein three guys in their mid-to-upper thirties are home for a reunion and take a walk to the old park where they see some youngsters playing basketball, just as they used to do.
One of them says: "One of those kids looks just like Johnny Langston--hey that is Johnny Langston." And so on. Yet no one else can confirm such an episode. Help is needed, hugely, majorly, bigly. And it was not on Twilight Zone, A. Hitchcock and a bunch of the other programs of the day--but it was on something!

he curses himself in a way purely so that he never gets old or age in any way. He doesn't mean for it to be a curse but it ends up that way because of how he exploits it.
