Is the mechanism at the end a link suit check to give a true ending if you got through with no DMG?
@@mountaindewherbert I wish I could do that, but no, it's supposed to be random. I really want to implement that though! Maybe it does work like that though and I did it unintentionally 😅

That was one of the best Link levels I've seen you play. Usually Link levels are one dimensional i.e. just blow up the block or get the coin with an arrows but that level used those mechanics and combined them with others to make it more tense and skill based.

In the lasts level, if you have preserved the link power-up while dropping that axe, you could’ve taken the upper route of the conveyer and finished the level by going out of the castle.

The most shocking thing to take out of this whole video is to learn the fact that, somehow, "Ryu" was not a taken CZcams channel name this whole time and Ryukahr just got a hold of it for free. That will be a giant flex in the future, I can already tell.

I feel like the most underused powerup in Mario Maker 2 would either be the superball, or the mega mushroom. To be fair you could also say the hats from 3d world too.

Don't know if this is something that's actually possible, but I think on that last level, if you had kept the link power up you would have gone up and to the right after grabbing the axe so as link, you would have had salvation and made it to the exit but without it you're sent to your doom at the saw.
I wish lol it's random unfortunately. I can't think of a good setup for something like that to happen just yet
There's a secret way to make a good Mario 2 level: Don't use any Bullet Bills. Because without them, you're already doing something more creative than 95% of mario 2 levels

Unfortunately it seems he gave it up, probably because his mario videos pull considerably more views. It’s a bit sad if so because I though ryu would finish it regardless the view count because he seemed to enjoy the game.

@@deezile5827 I tried to make it so you can always have the moles follow you and fall into the pits. That way, for people who like taking their time, you can be pretty safe just dropping them in pits to clear the way. :)

I think it was nice having a few retro games and other things sprinkled in amongst the Mario content, kept it fresh so I hope those can stay on the main channel!
That last level was just an amazing Link suit showcase. It showed me all sorts of Link things I didn't know about!
Well, if you're ever curious, I got some more levels like that. I can't say that they're as good as this one, but you can at least see some of them. Some streamers have been taking up the task to clear them all

Ryu missed the big ending of that last level and timing the axe so Mario “survives” it. He needed to hit the rising platform to get to safety.

Tbh - I think this channel should be all Nintendo and platformer, with your second be any content. Other games, vlogs, extended cut, full live-streams, etc.
his primary channel needs to average the highest average views possible. having 9 videos get 300k views and 1 getting 30k views is a major issue for commercial viability.
he obviously wants to do the other content but he cant do it at the expense of his livelihood.

The secret ending in the first level: looks like a key door above the pipe in the room with the P-switches you need to avoid on the floor, my guess is you complete the next section, grab the key, then make your way back there.
