    You mean Layers?? I'm a 90s kid. This is called Layers. I'm old I guess

      Yep… hair dresser here. Losing ideas to film I guess.

      Hairstylist here too😊 If you’re an up to date hairstylist and take the current trendy names lightly for something we know is as basic as: layers, a one length cut, layers, balayage, highlights etc. it serves as a great way for clients to communicate what they want.

      Yup, you are.

      No you're young.
      Its a 70s style 100%.

      But if you want to be a butterfly, you have to pay more than if you want to be just "layered" 😂😂

    The moment I heard his voice I thought "wow, he must be Greek"! It's the voice, the accent and of course the name.

    Thank you so much for this! I've ALWAYS wanted this look but never knew it had a specific name! I can't wait to ask for this.

      It definitely does not have this specific name, most hairdressers would think you are a lunatic. Just call it “layers” and indicate how far up you want them to start.

    I used to work in the beauty industry and this shit used to piss me off. Artists will come up with a cutesy name for an old technique so it looks like they really did something. Cashing in on foundational technique 🤦‍♀️ You'll never catch the really big names in the industry doing that 🙄😒

    Am I the only one who couldn't see any difference between the before and after? 🤔

    Lol. Is that what they're calling it now.
    90s night out ? You mean 70s ..
    Finally younger stylists will know what I'm raling about

    IMHO it just looks like she got a trim to the haircut she already had.

    What exactly is the before- after difference please?!?

    • @FireCracker-vd8pq
      @FireCracker-vd8pq Před 7 měsíci

      It's the layers. Tons of layers in throughout the length of the hair is the major difference. That adds texture and volume.

    Didn't wash the hair first.

  • @Nanapoo

    I did it and it ruined my hair cause I feel now I have so many split ends. I ended up cutting my hair into a bob to make it all one layer again :( why does everyone seem to love this haircut?? I’ll never understand

    • @ginadestevens1604
      @ginadestevens1604 Před 8 měsíci +11

      a layered haircut, or any kind of haircut does not cause split ends. 😆

      This is just not a thing. You are obviously just damaging your hair some other way,
