The series of Jethro Tull album releases in this format are great and, possibly, the best examples of how to really present the music to the fans. I look forward to this album as I recall watching the broadcast from Madison Square Garden. The performance made me an instant fan of the band Jethro Tull.

I saw Jethro Tull for the first time at the Providence Civic Center in 1973 and most recently last November at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. I’ve worn out vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks and CDs of many albums in each era. I listen to many other artists and genres of course, but often pop in my AirPods and crash for a while listening to classic and more recent Tull.

"Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Festhalle Bern. Sit back, relax and enjoy the evening with..."
Hello Ian, I'm what you might call a lifelong fun of Tull. This video just reminded me of mid 70-ties when Tull gave their first concert in Belgrade. Then I acquired Songs From The Wood which is to this day my favorite, together with Heavy Horses and Stormwatch. From that point on I researched Jethro Tull backwards in time and collected everything the band (in all its incarnations) published afterwards. Funny thing is that the Madison Square Garden concert (together with the famous "Russian microphonics" 🤣) was about the first thing my family watched on our brand new color TV. As for Bursting Out I heard it so many times I think I can sing or whistle every single minute of it even today. So thank you Ian and the guys for improving my life with your inimitable music and super-funny shows.

Ian, was 5 rows back in 1977, summer At the Boston Garden, never forget it, Barriemores solo at that show was mind blowing & on the busting out album is unreal, Songs From the Wood tour was insanely great. Velvet Green, Barriemore tugging that little eclectic kit on that platform was so cool, i had the best black hash at the time, makin' me the man, then you blew us all away. Top five concerts even in my life & i've seen tons. 🏆...when the next metal album coming out 😉

Sir, is there a Jed Tull? (Asking for a friend.)
Love that the young whippersnappers are discovering the great music of which you are a leading voice. And that you are still creating. These are the good old days. '24 is '64. (Pass me that bottle, will you?)

Thank you, Iain, for all the music. You have provided something of a soundtrack through a substantial number of chapters of my life. It is genuinely appreciated.

No Lullaby on Bursting out. First Jethro Tull recording I ever heard. Didn't know anything about the band or the music. Just liked the white tights. 1978 Ian Anderson had legs like a marvel superhero.
