Love what you are doing. I just wish there was a way to control your boards with the Proto-Throttle or something similar. I dislike using a touchscreen to control trains. Maybe a future product idea for you?
The commands these boards receive are DCC commands. What you are describing could possibly work if Proto-Throttle added a bluetooth module to their controller. Maybe someday.
Great product. Less expensive than the WiFi controllers and easier to use. Can you please make a CZcams video on how to install the BlueRailDCC board on a HO engine that already has a DCC ready motherboard.
