- In this video, Executive Producer of the Security in Context Podcast Anita Fuentes interviews historian Vijay Prashad about Tricontinental’s recent newsletter titled “NATO Destroyed Libya in 2011: Storm Daniel Came to Sweep Up the Remains” where he discussed the tragedy of the flood that struck the city of Derna in the aftermath of Storm Daniel and resulted in the deaths of thousands.
Vijay is a historian, journalist, and executive director of the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research and the author of forty books including “Arab Spring. Libyan Winter”, published in 2012.
