    You just did a dual spring kit!
    You should have sent the shocks to Shock Therapy & have them rebuild the valving to you type of riding!
    Also you start on the softest setting on the clickers.
    If you bottom out you then move the clicker to the next setting & go til the RZR doesn’t bottom out!
    This will give you the best ride, but you need your valving redone to get best ride quality!

      As the title says, I rebuilt the shocks days before I put the springs on. Yes there full treatment with revalve will make more of a difference. But I’m from Canada and shipping alone costs an absurd amount. I can custom order full set King shocks brand new for that kind of money.
      Suspension on softness setting is a marshmallow, doesn’t corner at all. All I’m saying in the video is if you have a newer machine and think springs are going to make a difference you will be disappointed, if you have clapped out ones and need new ones, you might as well buy shock therapy ones. Thanks for watching and the comment

    I am also in Canada 🇨🇦. Purchased shock therapy springs for my 21 pro xp ultimate. I put them on just a few months after purchasing the machine new. And like you, I was a bit disappointed in how little the difference was between the factory springs ride and the shock therapy ride as far as just comfort goes. BUT... they were a great improvement on jumps and whoops... I have a couple videos showing before and after over the same whoops. And you can see the difference. So I short... my opinion... if you want to simply improve the ride quality of your pro xp... save your money... but if you want to drive aggressive, jump and high speeds over rough terrain... I absolutely suggest the shock therapy route.

    I would recommend you go to their website and watch a lot more their videos. What did your car come with for tires originally what 29s 30s, 35 is massive more weight and that is way harder on the shock. nothing to do with the springs. Full rebuild would also entail replacing the spring stacks inside the shock. They were engineered for what came on the car not for those big heavy 35s so yeah you'll still probably bottom out or it'll be harsh if you turn the compression up so you don't. And if you watch the videos they never claim earth shattering differences. they say it'll make your ride 20 to 30% better and it sure sounds like it did more than that. They also say revalving will be another 40 or 50% better.

    Canada here as well. Altho I went with Eibachs over ST, I agree with you 100%, I found new springs helped it a bit, but if it was a 2 out of 10 before spring kit, the new springs made it a 4. I then went with a rebuild, recharged nitrogen and revalved at same time, and that made a huge difference, I’d have to say it’s a 7 or 8 out of 10 now.

    2024 Polaris RZR 1000 XP Ultimate and it was a night and day difference in the ride and performance of our machine with the Shock Therapy dual rate spring kit. No regrets and what an improvement in the ride height. Factory springs are junk in my opinion. When we made the change we were just over 1,000 miles. Furture plans to have Shock Therapy rebuild and valving done.

    I think when the sxs blog guys talk about them they do the whole build, springs re valve and tune based on there specs(weight, passenger, riding style, accessories and so on. Just changing the fluid and seals will just make them feel like new again.

    • @twistedsxs2426
      @twistedsxs2426  Před rokem

      Yes for sure. I’m sure the full therapy treatment would more of a difference. They do ask quite a few questions in weight, riding style, tire size, what your carrying even if you just by the springs. It is a good product, just wasn’t mind blowing. If you have a different machine with really stiff suspension I think you would notice a much larger difference. Thanks for watching and comment.

      @@twistedsxs2426I also think they make a bigger difference on fully loaded machines with butts in every seat, spare tire hanging off the back and a bunch of other accessories. If the overall weight of your car is about the same as stock, I don’t imagine their spring rates will be much different with the exception of the dual rate being a lot smoother over smaller chatter bumps.

    they're springs, they hold the car up. They look like the do a great job at that, good springs. Your old springs, clapped out, and had 8" of pre load, didnt hold the car up like they should, bad springs. considering you got 8 springs, 4 dual rate sliders, and 4 dual rate clamps. sounds like the going rate for all that.

    Shock Therapy springs will rub your shock body and possibly destroy the shock. I learned the hard way. Also make sure you readjust your ride height since you’ve went on a couple rides. They will settle which makes the rubbing worse.

      @@twistedsxs2426 not that I'm aware of. I think having the ride height where it's suppose to be will help. In my case with 32" tires it really tightened up the springs. • @swdiosdiosdado
    @swdiosdiosdado Před 11 měsíci +7

    The title of the video is kind of misleading. Swapping springs is not a full shock rebuild. Also if your shocks internal wear parts ( bushings, seals , oil , nitrogen charge, etc) are shot, there’s no set of springs that will compensate for those issues. Sorry buddy, but you are going to have to lighten your wallet and get the other half of your problem fixed. When you do, it will be the best money you spend on your car.

      The Pro XP has a plush ride to begin with, smoothness on mid to upper range speed is better. If your suspension is rough at any speed, you will feel a ride quality improvement difference for sure with shock therapy. I have heard the Mav sport do ride rough. You will get a different result I feel. I had havocs before and they don’t ride great. This likely doesn’t help you any either. Next step for me play with shock adjusters and tire pressure to dial it in. Thanks for watching.

      So I said in the video the shocks were fully rebuilt with fresh oil the same time I put new springs on. Springs do absolutely define your ride quality as well as ride height. Shock therapy asks you like 2 pages of questions about your riding style, weight, do you have a passenger a lot, tire size, do you carry a cooler etc. very detailed and then they choose the spring “rate” for you. I’m not saying they’re bad, just not a huge improvement from stock. Thanks for watching.
