Strange irony on how this all went down last night. Sixers let go of Butler to keep Simmons/Tobias. Simmons self destructs and now Harden takes his place. Butler on his new team annihilates the Sixers on their home court in an elimination game, and Harden goes scoreless and disappears. In the end this is what they gave up Butler for.

But I still think we're going up from here, based on the fact that we can build a team that makes sense with Embiid and Maxey as our core, and Harden as our point guard is still a better core than Embiid, Simmons, and Tobi. So you're telling me Harden quit on the Rockets and the Nets and now quit on the Sixers???? What!!??? Who would've thought 😅😅 also Embiid getting another pass for yet another season where he got injured when they most needed him.

I'd like to think the Heat had a lot to do with Harden's lousy performance, but sure, let's just say that it was more about Harden being terrible.

I'm a Rockets fan and I have felt the same way Shannon is talking about with Harden, great during the season and a flop during playoffs. Every team Harden has been on gets infected with the Harden virus and can't make it through the playoffs. Golden State showed how weak Harden is in the post season, a lame duck! He gets paid all this money and for what? Houston should have kept Chris Paul and gotten rid of Harden. I mean look at Chris when he went to the Thunder and now with Phoenix and look at Houston, Brooklyn and Philly when Harden joined these teams.

Underrated comment. He is a cancer. Imagine saying "I passed the ball and never got it back" in a Semi-Final post-game conference. That's some 15yo lack of accountability and perspective of the current context. Sad. You said it perfectly... "He gets paid all that money and for what?".

The 76ers traded Ben Simmons for a shorter and non defensive Ben Simmons. Those two guys won't shoot the basketball. They average the same number of field goals attempt in the fourth quarter 2FGA
