If you put it infront of the glass put a thin layer of transparent nail polish to have a glas like looking layer over it. My mum used that trick often for my Halloween costumes

Danny, for small gems, you could look on amazon for nail art gems! They come in loads of sizes and colors
I actually noticed that as I was posting this video. I have a link to the ones I found in the description.
@@wizardryworkshop I didn't have any gems and wanted to use what I had on hand. I had a bottle of Scribbles 3D crystal paint so I colored in your gems on your template with a green Sharpy and put a thin coating of glitter paint on them. After that dried, I built each one up to look like a gem.
Can you do the diary?
I like the Hobby Lobby locket you found Danny. Green nail art gems would be smaller. The idea I have for a DIY would be the Basilisk fang. I am quite sure you could accomplish that.
That is easy enough to do with polymer clay and paint. There are plenty of tutorials on how to make a claw/fang on CZcams.

I would recommend gel medium to glue the paper to the glass and to seal the paper. I don't think the gluestick is doing to hold up long term as glue stick isn't a good glue for bonding to a nonporous surface. The gel medium will protect the paper. Gel Medium is a great glue for so many media- I prefer Golden brand but Liquitex makes a decent one as well. You can get the product in matte, semi-gloss or gloss. Glossy accents would also be another good choice and it's cheaper since you can get tiny bottles. Glossy. accents would also be a good choice for attaching the rhinestones
Great project- I love the look of the finished product. I love your vision for the locket base and the rhinestones and of course, your graphic design work is always so good. I can't wait to make this project.

Hi Danny. If you consider to make another Horcrux, how about Nagini the Voldemort snake by (buy a snake plush from a store and repaint to make it match the movie)
If you want to find the jems that are small enough look for nail jems on eBay they are really cheep :)

you could try using a toothpick to add the glue to gems, that is what I do with my crafts that have small gems
In hindsight, yes that's much safer than using an x-acto blade. Lol

Hi Danny. It would be amazing to see a replica of the banners that hang in the Ministry of Magic.
The RAB note goes in the fake horcrux (the locket from the cave), not the real Slytherin locket. Beautiful work, but I'm a sucker for details.
I just thought it would be fun to include it.

Okay I downloaded the templates but it seems your PDF is locked??
The PDF is not locked. What are you seeing when you try to open it?
@@wizardryworkshop when I print off your template it doesn't fit the locket. I have the same exact locket you have and neither of these templates fit. You said you had already scaled yours to size. So, when I clicked on it to copy it to a document so I could crop it, it won't let me "select" it or grab it put it on the document.
What program are you using to do this?
