2024 03 15 East Lancs Rly "Giants of Steam"

The East Lancashire Railway held a three-day "Giants of Steam" weekend on 15-17 March 2024, featuring mainline locos Jubilee no. 45690 "Leander", A4 no. 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" and Standard 7MT no. 70000 "Britannia". Also Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway saddletank 752 operated a local shuttle service, appearing as loco 11305, the last survivor of its class in BR service as a service loco at Horwich Works.
