Retained Firefighter Recruit course 2020

A little insight into the training to become a retained firefighter in Kildare fire Service. Training during recrutiment includes Pump Operation, working on heights, Road Traffic Collisions and hose management and much more. This course was held during the Covid 19 Coronavirus pandemic and all precautions were put in place in order to carry out the vital recruit course required for the county.

Completed recruites course 4 months ago! Incredible experience. Highly, highly, highly recommend it. Leads to, probably, the best job in the world! Met some of thee most incredible people I've ever met. Learned so much in the time we spent there! Don't hesitate! Go for it!!
