One of my favorite players in any game ever.
Daniel not sure he said pockets 6 or pocket 4 hahaha
If i was antill I’d be shitting my pants
i cant even begin to see how Daniel got that AA read from just one bet.
well, he didn´t know it at all or he would have folded. The guy talks all the time and if he´s right it gets televised.
@@MCFoultier Depends how many hands he's seen played at the table. Pros like Daniel can easily pick apart someone's game. Daniel is just more vocal with guessing hand ranges.

Pocket 6s or pocket 4s?
I like the one where he has deuces against 2 all-ins with an ace each, but I can’t find it anymore. Think it was wsop and a woman was in the hand.
Romanellos jacks full lay down will just forever be my favorite
That was kinda nitty. This is much harder czcams.com/video/t23gMcfh5Ik/video.html
@@laartwork That's Jackson and Ivey bluffing, there's no "good fold" in that hand. Romanello's fold here is world class.
That wasn't nitty at all. You're a nit for thinking it's nitty. He obviously had a read, and the other guy made it easy for him for emphatically refusing to show if he folded. So you know he wants action and he raised big. He has to either have A-high straight or one of the other two possible full boats that beat yours. With that board, in which the broadway would be the most obvious made hand, do you think someone would be reluctant to show the hand that anyone in that position could be assumed to have? He had to have Aces or Kings full in that situation. No one would be bluffing with that board
I love how the Mr Peanut graphic lands right on his head too😆

Also Negreanus reads are disgusting. Could you Imagine how scary it would be having someone tell you what your cards are then proceed to put chips in the middle
andrew wohlfart I would use that against Daniel. He’s too trustworthy. And the guy folded jacks due to table talk and the winner agreeing to show his hand
Daniel is one of the best players ever but how many times does he call it and it’s wrong but we never see it? My guess it a lot of times.
Roberto Romanello once again showing why he is one of the best players on the tour!
Well done, Rob. 🏴🏴
"Just please don't raise me" maybe might be out of the line and gave some sort of indication, but still that remains the most impressive laydown I've ever seen. EVER. Kudos to Romanello
How is that not an angle shoot by Dwan. Made forward motion with chips for sure.
It definitely was.
He should be forced to call, then immediately muck his hand if he is behind.
I think it's simply because these players would never angle shoot, and everyone knows it so he gets away with it. It was an honest hesitation without angle shoot intents
@@danielhenderson762 Oh come on, he makes blatant forward motion then after he draws his hand back, he looks directly into Black's eyes to gauge his reaction. It was practically a demonstration of what an angle shoot is.
Textbook angle shot
3:05 Bit of an angleshot there innit?
huge angle shoot and a few seconds later too. He made forward motion, I would have demanded put the chips in
I'm surprised the commentators didn't call it out.
100%. Looks for his opponents reaction immediately after. Shameful play
I would've called the floor. Especially since Dwan only had 73k left. 25k near dead chips would be s lot there.
My favorite thing about being a poker dealer is getting to be there for some of these moments. I remember dealing to Jason Mercier and another pro. They took $50,000 off of a high stakes amateur in 30 min playing Open Faced Chinese poker for $800 a point and the guy had no idea he was out of his league.
3:00 isn't that forward motion twice!!??

You go in hard against anyone playing that lose to call with Q high lmao
Folding Jacks Full is something that I'll never be able to do...and that's why he's there and I'm sitting on the couch covered in doritos and watching Cops on my Hi-Sense TV.
But after Romanello folded, what was the first thing he said?

Agreed

Daniel: “Why would you check the turn? If you bet the turn I was just gonna fold.”
That’s why, Daniel 🤣🤣
Mike was spitting truth. That lay down was insane!!!
Dwan was allowed to make that forward motion with his chips as if he was going to play, then pull his hand back and look at Black to study his reaction. Those chips should've been committed to the pot 3:08

This pocket Jacks. My god. I would be very proud of myself, if I only called that.
Gellar's line was weird and crazy polarizing.
Then add in the speech and the changed positioning with the crossed arms, and Romanello was able to make a massive live read play. Worst case scenario, he over folds, loses about 1.8k of his stack, and looks like a huge nit. Best case scenario, he's a legend for this fold for all the public to see.
Well played, Romanello. Well played.
I play with geller in tournaments in Colorado. He is a well known maniac
not sure what I enjoy more laying down a losing full house or hero calling with Q high
Where's Obst full house fold to Ruanes straight flush? He even said Ruanes hand. Not enough credit for that hand, WSOP 2016 deep in the main event.
Players last names on the screen, commentators call them by their first names. wtf
Did any of Y'all notice that they had an awesome poker game going while you've been watching these commercials?
Jacks full fold was so good the peanut man popped out of his head
I once folded queens full of kings. My hand QQ, flop QKK. The way one of my opponents was betting convinced me he had QK in his hand. Turns out I was right. The only reason I noticed was because I was hyper aware at the time,. I had lost with every pat hand I had the day before that game. It didn't matter what I had; full house, flush, straight, trips or whatever. Worst poker night of my life.
So you were on Poker Stars then
This just a my opinion but if you feel that you are beaten, fold always, no matter what hand you have and if you feel that you garbage hand is good, call

Awesome fold by Dwan. Always enjoy watching him play.
If there were a table full of world class pros, Dwan would be who I'd bet my money on winning.
Dwan didn’t change his mind he was checking for tells if he was to call. Bit cheeky.
The fact that Daniel Negreanu is in two of the top five reads on television assert my position that he is one of (if not the BEST) live poker player of all time
If he is nt the best he surely got the best personality.
Humbold he never talks about being the best and he enjoy playing.

The Romanello fold tho WOW
Negreanu: See everything under the table and just laugh..
Hellmuth: I am the best reader in poker, and i know how to play every cards thay i got (after the hand)
Awesome, another DN video. Sweet!
Love this outtro
I'm honestly more impressed with players who can lay down monster hands than I am with some of the best pros currently playing. You just have so many factors working against you when it's time to decide to call or fold. You probably have all your instincts screaming at you to call his bluff and stay in the hand, have to show humility and accept the fact any of the other players could have gotten even luckier than you, you're probably already a few thousand into the pot which you know you're not getting back if you fold, and don't want to be humiliated on live television for folding the winning hand against a bluff. That Jacks Full laydown may have been the best I've ever seen...
That JJ fold was incredible. The Negreanu 4s or 6s read was a hell of pickup but the guy gave away that he was super strong (What is it 10000 oh man come on, okay I call).
you've got to have a high level of instinct to decide folding hooks without regrets.
Daniel called the hand where the guy had 44, but there’s a lot of hands that beat 99 in that situation.
Don’t think that was that difficult of a lay down
Doug Polk’s fold to Helmuth is still the best I’ve seen...
That is the greatest fold ever for sure
Daniel isn’t reading cards, he’s guessing and he’s right . Anyone can say you have pocket 4’s or pocket 6’s, he just knows how to say it and play it. He has the gift of gab, he talks and wants to see if he can get info from the other player.
Thank you for that captain obvious 😆
I think saying that he's guessing it's technically accurate but also kind of misleading. I've made exact hand reads like this at poker. When you know how people tend to play and how often they raise versus call, you can develop a sense for these things.
The funny thing is, the JJ fold wasn’t really a good fold. There’s plenty of other full houses the opponent can have that you beat in that spot:
-2 Combos of J10
-6 Combos of A10
-6 Combos of K10
You also beat hands like Q10 that have the straight but have the 10 as a FH blocker. Q10 could easily raise there.
You’re only losing to:
-3 Combos of KK
-3 Combos of AA
-1 Combo of 1010
________
So, there’s 14 combos of FH’s that you beat, as well as Q10 and every other hand like AQ, KQ, QJ, that all have FH blockers with the straight that could easily raise on the river. Even QQ is a possibility to have and to raise the river with. So if you factor in all of those hands as well, that’s I believe 45 combos of hands that the opponent can reasonably have and raise the river.
Meanwhile there’s only 7 combos of hands you’re losing to.
I think this is always a call. The debate is whether you should raise or not. Because all those other FH’s you beat CAN call a 3 bet on the river. But safest play is to at least call.
Anyway, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “bad” fold, I just wouldn’t call it a “good” fold either.
Daniel sure can read them at the table 100% spot on
"Your eyes blinked, sir. You have a set."
dude: chickens out with full house
caster: wow thats world class
Are you slow?
now I don't believe the last one is a great read, I mean Daniel he was so emotional about that reading, he just made 2+2 thinking how the preflop 3bet could represent some premium hands, but it must be really weird to play AA with oppo being that way convinced you had them! So sick!!
3:32 Folding there was one helluva play
That jacks full is probably the second greatest fold of all time. Doyle folding Kings to Chip Reece’s aces on a rainbow flop is still the best fold in poker history
Hank Azaria (actor from the Simpsons) laid down kings pre flop one year at the WSOP, that was impressive IMO.
Of course the other guy held AA.
First one is an angle shoot. Dwan motioned his chips forward looking at black's reaction. Also, I can't believe it's the "best read ever". Black reraised a reraise. He basically broadcast that he's got a 10 with that. And since dwan had a small kicker that didn't pair, he knew at that point he can only beat a bluff. it wasn't that great of a fold or read.
I still don't understand why that angle shoot by Dwan was allowed, or how come the other players and commentators didn't even mention it, it was pretty blatant.
Comentators: she has to fold her Q, its pretty obvious he gas a T
Also comentators: oh my god, what an amazing fold, he folded T3...
Dwan folding trips was a great read. Its hard to fold a set after the flop, pre turn card. Jacks full fold was an amazing read. He must of had a gut feeling or something. Crazy stuff
Bit of an angle shot
Easy fold
He grabbed the chips for a call and moved as though he was going to put them in. He then immediately looked at the opponent to see if they reacted. It's a textbook angle shot and many if not most casinos would have forced him to call for it.
Please add a few more ads. Love them

I’ve seen Tom Dwan do that border line angle shoot/forward motion a lot of times, surprised nobody has ever said anything?
I've noticed it too but he typically does it when he's staring off into Durrland and doesn't watch the other player for a reaction so it makes it a bit more acceptable IMO. Still a bit shady though
@@brandonkrause7308 But if you were durrr wouldn't you pretend to be looking into durrrland when you were really looking for tells? 'Specially if you're a world class player with a bunch of secret strats mortals can't fathom, surely "oddly good peripheral vision" isn't out of the question.

Probably could've made the whole video from reads that Daniel had made. The jacks full lay down was ridiculous.
There’s a million hero calls out there cuz people bluff a lot so hero folds are way more intriguing especially when you have second nuts or a really strong hand like nut flush against a boat or boat over boat or quads to boat and or straight flush
Hand where tony g folds ace high flush to straight flush should be on here
Daniel can do this all the time. He only calls it out when he gets annoyed.
The lady with 10s full of aces folding to Aces full of 10s should make this list too.
Dwan making that angle shot first hand. I'm suprised the announcers ignored it and most casinos would call it forward momentim forcing him to call.
Some players have bad luck hands. I’ve folded a monster hand in certain spots. It’s a gut feeling you get from a past Deja-vu hand that played out exactly the same way. Personally, I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been annihilated catching a full-house. Never fails, they turn over a the better boat or on few horrible occasions turned over Quads and made me absolutely sick for a week straight. It’s my bad luck hand, I’ve take too many bad beats with it. I still play it of course, but depending on the dynamics of the hand, I’m not afraid to fold it either.
Negreanu is a psychic.
Geller gave it away with his talking. He should have kept quiet and Romanello would have called.
15 years later and it’s still both funny and mindboggling that people do not realise Negreanu did this ALL the time, such that you every now and then get it right and look like a genius on TV. Worked like a charm and apparently still does, given the praise here.

I love Dwan, but he angle shot that first clip. Just saying.
Can you explain, I'm starting to get into poker but I'm trying to learn before I hop into it, what is angle shooting and how did he do it on the first clip
Angle shooting is where you grab your chips and make forward motion with them as if you're trying to bet but pull them back. It's used to get a reaction out of other players and usually frowned upon
He does it at 3:07
@@hjoknvgvnn6116 Angle Shooting is not just that, its doing something against etiquette to get a reaction out of your opponent (not just forward motion)
It genuinely annoys the hell out of me how frequently this channel plays adverts. You do NOT need 48 adverts in a 15 minute video.
Geller's play was consistent with A-10 since he was in position. Not sure why Romanello wouldn't call just in case. Maybe he figured an A-10 would have bet on the flop?
Dude forgot to show another Negreanu hand where he had a busted straight draw against pocket AA and reraised his opponent with thin air, and said out loud that he thinks he has aces. Opponent thought that if Dan reraised him, he surely beats his AA, so he folded his rockets against Dans Queen high
