- In today's video I make another white tray with shell fragments. Please refer to my video where I made the original two trays to see more information about where I got the shells. This time I think it came out more interesting. * The shells came from Laura’s Art Corner and they are the Cool Tropical Mix Shells 120gr (Blue, Purple, and Green).

At around 10:30-ish everything goes quiet. I was explaining how I forgot to stir the resin for the topcoat after I started pouring it. I stirred it on the tray and, LUCKILY, it did cure! That was a relief. I don't understand why the voice-over didn't play on CZcams when it played after I rendered it. Weird. 🤔 I was all over the place yesterday after not sleeping well the night before. And I'm still nervous when I record. 🙄 I also noticed the box had an expiration of a few days ago. The polyurethane is working fine and those bottles are almost empty. Anyhoo, thanks for watching and I hope you'll leave a thumbs up. Thanks!

I love the periwinkle blue around the edges. I thought I liked the black one the best in the last video you did of this tray, but I think this is my favorite now. It was a good idea to do this one again.

The tray is lovely! Just curious as to why not do the bottom in white resin. But it is so pretty! And I love the bowl. Thank you!
Thanks so much, Kathy. 👏🏻🤗 While it is true that black makes colors POP, white is seen as a weaker backing color. I use white when I don’t want an extreme color pop or just a brighter look to the piece. Black is great, and I will use it when I feel it is needed, like the black-backed tray from my original video doing these trays. It’s all preference really. Thanks for the compliments. Much appreciated.
