    Or use a dial gauge and set travel to 0.080 - 0.125. Not everyone has that expensive fancy little tool.

    You can grind the pin shorter if you need to; a longer pin they have extension tips available.

    question, if that the original pin that came out of the tranny, why it is too long now. I keep watching videos about this tool and the only way I use this tool is if I get a new pin or modify something in the servo, but if you are just removing the servo and installing it back, nothing should have changed right?

      Yeah but if your having a issue the band being smoked or pin worn...you wouldn't want to reuse the same pin...keep the longer length to make it bite.

    so nothing was solved

    • @cowsauce9099
      @cowsauce9099 Před 7 lety +3

      It was exactly solved.
      Step 1: Buy tool
      Step 2: Assemble and Test
      Step 3: If within clearance, complete assembly, else source new pin.
      How is that not an exact solution?

    OR! Cheaper to buy a tiny extender and file it as needed! And also clearance can be checked without this tricky ass tool!

    You could have actually ground off the tip of the valve rather than order a new one.

      externally theyre the same. a 70, 65, 60 can all bolt in place of each other. the differences are internal. what exactly would you like to know?

  • @zeke112964
    @zeke112964 Před 5 lety
