My 19’ is 5 years old in August. Just hit 52k miles and came back last week from its second trip from Tx-Va. averaged 36+ mpg going 75-80mph can’t complain for the power. No issues all these miles besides a washer fluid sensor about 12k miles replaced under bumper-bumper. Solid built, fun to drive, and comfortable!

The Altima is a mid-size Sedan. More like a family sedan not a sports car. For a commuter and road-trip vehicle does the job pretty good and in a comfortable way. Plenty of room.

They did redo the CVT in 2019 by adding a traditional torque converter reprogramming the software and adding some other more durable parts to it I have one in a 2019 Altima and I have just at 100,000 miles and all I've done is the fluid changes every 30,000 miles and it hasn't given me any problems.

I bought the same premium package 3-4 months ago. The vehicle just reached 10,000 miles and I’ve already spent 12 hours in the service department replacing defective seats, oil changes, my tires are all done for, and other issues like the sensors popping out and stereo audio needing a update. I was also charged $20,000 over the sticker price of $33,000. Don’t get me wrong, everything else about the car has been great, it’s those little kinks and defects that make it a nightmare. If you don’t want the aggravation of maintenance and long waits, get a different model or brand. I planned on trading it up after 20,000 miles anyways, but the car couldn’t make it that long without maintenance and repairs. I wash/rinse and vacuum the car daily and there have been little to no passengers. If you don’t have ocd or you have a family, the car will surly fall apart. After 3 months do you know what my trade up value is on a $47,000 car…? $23,000……. I still have the tape on the gas tank button and trunk button and the stickers on the rims.. I’m willing to admit I don’t know much about equity and the trade in value may increase over time, but even then by the time you have positive equity your mileage will be the main cause of depreciation, so it’s a loose loose on the 23 Altima Sr premium package. It has to be the most depreciating vehicle on the market.

No it's dependable and more responsive. Nissan added a torque converter in 19' so that helped with durability. Mine has just short of 100,000 miles on it on my 2019 and all I've done is routine fluid changes and it still works perfectly.

@@devinthierault I'm not real clear what you're trying to say. From 2019 up the CVT simulates an 8-speed transmission. Simulate / fake shifting. At the end of the day it's still a one speed transmission. So yes fake. Mine has over 100 thousand and still performs fine.

My 2019 is all original, just change the fluid every 30 thousand and it will surely be going strong 10+ my guy.
