I was fortunate to find the seperate part 1 and part 2 CDs to own this score before it was very sought after. I've never seen this movie, or have ever heard anything about it... But I sure enjoy the music! It stands on its own. I'm digging the Star Wars esque artwork cover.
Varese Sarabande just re-released this score, today, as a Deluxe Edition! From their description, the "...2CD Deluxe Edition presents the complete contents of both LPs, in film sequence, and adds two additional, previously unreleased cues. Because the new cues are sourced from reference material, they are labeled as “bonus tracks” at the end of a shorter-than-expected disc one, so as to remain in chronological order."
Ive been collecting soundtracks since 1990, starting with Total Recall. I’ve been loving Goldsmith, Horner, Williams. Always been doubting myself who liked most. I’ve come to a conclusion, it’s Jerry Goldsmith. Always inventive and original! Okay some scores in the late nineties (the Mummy was great though) were mostly pale efforts compared with his previous ones composed in decades earlier… but oh boy, what a music this man could write!!! The best!!! (I have literally hundreds of soundtracks, so this means something)
I haven't seen this movie so I can scarcely imagine what kind of hijinks were going on at 37:30 despite the fact that this is a movie about the Crusades.
Un gran acierto musical de JERRY GOLDSMITH.
Amazing. Goldsmith was brilliant on another level with originality and inventiveness.

1:02:55 is where the spine tingling starts...
Nice to have you home Eric.
Missed your postings.
Merci

If you've seen these movies, it'll ring a bell for ya :
Conan, Inner Universe, Total recall (especially), Star Trek movie(s).
^^
Great music. What is the tracklist, please? The length does not seem to match that of the Epic Symphonic album...
Very nice job mixing the tracks!
It's just the album, not mixed tracks :)
Oh, I'm sorry, you're right, it isn't the album

The main theme is as close to the Conan one as the poster is close to the StarWars one.
22:00, if you listen closely, you can actually hear the whale sounds from the beginning of the LEVIATHAN soundtrack.
Good ear, Sir👍
現在の映画が面白くなくなったのは、残念ながら、ジェリー・ゴールドスミス級の巨匠が他界してしまったのが原因の1つだと思います。映画は決して脚本、映像が全てではないと私は思ってます!
58:20.
Pure Goldsmith!!
Always was able to write great music for crappy films.
