@@stanloona7133 I don't know if you're joking but Komaeda is not dumb, he's probably the most intelligent character in the game along with Kirigiri and perhaps Ouma. He's definitely the smartest in SDR2, if he didn't exist, they would have all been executed in the 3rd and 4th trials in SDR2 as he was the only one who could answer certain questions the others didn't know, there were quite a few times where the other characters relied on him

Chihiro’s death and trial is the only one that never fails to make me sad. Chihiro is my favorite character and his story is so sad, he definitely did not deserve to die. He was so pure.
It makes it even more sad that Mondo could have helped and had potential to survive to the end, he did seem like a genuine kind guy despite rough exterior and could have helped Chihiro. Keith Silverstein did an amazing as his role as Mondo that I felt for him. This trial makes me sad because in my personal opinion the two best characters in the first game die in the same chapter.
They should have replaced Byakuya and Hajime in my opinion. The weakest and most boring characters.

Extremely late but Byakuya did later tell Naegi that he wouldn’t have let himself die for the sake of making the game “interesting.” Had Naegi and Kirigi not realized who actually killed Chihiro, Byakuya would have stepped forward and told the truth.
The jerks are usually the last to die in horror unfortunately:(
To him, this is a test for Naegi and partially Kirigiri to see if he was able to debunk a framing. After the trial, he tells them that if they had missed his discrepancies, he would have shut down the whole facade and come forward as a witness. That being said, yeah I was surprised he wasn't a victim to one of the motives, in most cases these were spontaneous and usually targeted towards individuals who were easily taken down with brute force or deception, such is the case for Hifumi's murder.
Byakuya's voice actor is better than his entire character.

Super Smash Harri same some would say he didn’t change at all in the future but I would like to debate I think in the end he truly did change in some way and is thankful for the survivors although he might not admit it for example in the anime he smiles at seeing Yasuhiro being okay and is worried hoping none of his friends die in the last killing game also I think he truly cares about Toko hoping she will get over the whole Genocider case in control although I have no facts to back it up it’s sometimes I like to believe after all she does somewhat work for him his changes might be slim but if you analyze his well he’s a very satisfying character I definitely see why some don’t like him though
HylianBelmont, actually, no. Byakuya said himself he disregards emotions, that is until the forth chapter where his believes are put into question. After that Byakuya starts showing more emotion, so his voice also changes.

What makes this sadder is that Kiyotaka confessed to Makoto that he's never had anyone call him a friend until he met Mondo and Makoto (...and possibly Chihiro). So one can only imagine what he must have endured before attending Hope's Peak Academy.

What I find interesting about the Blackened in this case is how he doesn't really put up much of a fight after being accused, and I believe he's the only one who fully admits to his crime before the vote. Who would've guessed that Mondo, the usually short-tempered biker gang leader would be the most reasonable, while Leon and Celeste, who appeared more laid-back and proper would be far less cooperative?

So, end of another chapter. Well firstly, let me take back what I said about "no one except Monokuma being truly evil". Byakuya ("WHEN I become blackened,"... not "IF", but "WHEN"... Straight from the horse's mouth. Or since he's a huge pretty boy, I guess pony's.) and "Genocide Jill" clearly are. Speaking of Jill, say what you will about the English dub, but her voice actress did a fucking AMAZING job. And knowing what we know now about Toko, her constant vibe of "I'm going to fucking explode in 5 seconds and it's taking all my willpower to stop myself," that she had even prior to the reveal becomes far more scary in hindsight.
When Byakuya revealed Toko as Genocide Jill in the first 20 minutes of this trial, I knew it couldn't really be her. I had a feeling they weren't gonna pull some bullshit like Ace Attorney's _Rise From the Ashes_ or _Turnabout Ablaze_ where you know the culprit but it takes fucking EONS to take them down. And I was right. There was a total of TWO fake-outs in this chapter: the first of course being Toko, and the second being Byakuya, before the real perp was finally nailed, and it turns out it was... Mondo!? Okay, first _Sayaka_ was an attempted killer, then _Leon_ was a successful one, and now _MONDO_ is the third one? They're really going all out with the whole "anyone is capable of evil acts even if they're not an inherently evil person," and the "you're forced to get someone executed who you really don't wanna see executed," things, aren't they? And then there's the victims... Junko, Chichiro, and (again) Sayaka. ALL of these cool people (save Junko, who I seem to remember reading spoilers about which basically indicated she was a sadist asshole) are now dead, while a serial killer, arrogant sociopath and sadist Carebear-senpai roam free. Damn Dangon Ronpa, you really are as sadistic to the player's heartstrings as Carebear-senpai is to the school inmates. To top it all off, the execution in this one was even more overblown and fucked up than the last. Mondo was GROUND TO A PULP AND MADE INTO BUTTER THAT MONOKUMA THEN *ATE ON TOP OF PANCAKES, **_HOW CAN YOU EVEN TOP THAT!?_* But they will. I know they will, 'cuz the game developers are glorious bastards.
And that ending scene... Welp, I'll be sure to watch out for any creepy bald guys in the coming chapters. Except it'll probably not actually be a bald guy, it's probably just drawn that way to hide their identity from the player.
On an unrelated note, I'm wondering what the point of the "Monokuma Theater" interludes are. They seem totally nonsensical and unconnected to each other. I guess I'll find out eventually.

isn't this why DanganRonpa is awesome? specially in DR1! they killed off all the best person/character earliest possible so you can feel the despair for losing a friend. for SDR2 the sweets character last longer than DR1, and i would say something also but it would be spoiler
