the "78" fact is almost entirely wrong:
Firstly: The goat is built by a certain company, not the town since the 1970:s (also, there used to be 2 goats for a time, the second build by the local academy).
Secondly: In Sweden, we do NOT believe that Santa's sleigh is driven by goats, idk where this came from.
Thirdly: Burning the goat is not an activity "half the town does", but is illegal vandalism. It's true that is burns down a lot of time and there are bets every year about how many days it stays without being burned or if it survives, but the actual burning is illegal and people who are caught are fined.
The goat is a representative of "The yule goat" which has pagan roots going at least 800 back in time. The chistmas goat was celebrated from the 1700s by people walking from door to door performing and singing. Usually one member of the group would wear a goat mask, often made of hay. In exchange they received food, money or alcohol. Later in the 1800s it changed to where the goat would deliver presents, which predated Santa, and in the 1900, Santa replaced the goat entirely. We still celebrate Christmas traditionally by Santa (a family member in a costume) knocking on the front door and is invited inside, where he delivers his presents to the people one by one and then takes his leave. Santa always says "Are there any kind children here?" when he is invited inside.
Nowadays the Christmas goat is a very common decorative item during Christmas time, it may decorate the tree, be placed on the dinner table and is present in artwork everywhere.

Hello. About the ”Flogstaskriket” =the sreaming in Flogsta (a neighbourhood in the university city of Uppsala). It is true, Historically students of the University of Uppsala had tests on wednesdays and since student are students they studied on tuesday evening. A group of student descided to scream out their frustration and desperation though open windows. This became a funny student tradition and is still active on nigits before big tests.another funny student tradition is to keep the fictive student Elof Sundin alive. He doesn`t exist more than on paper but he has taken several masters at the university and still delivers papers and essayes.

Regarding the longest word in Swedish: Since Swedish is a language in which you can compound words into longer words, you can theoretically compound any number of words into one single word. So, Swedish (and several other Germanic languages, including German) can kind of cheat to compound a huge number of words into one. While they might technically not be listed in any dictionary, they can be grammatically correct words nonetheless. So basically, "realisationsvinstbeskattning" isn't the longest *possible* word, just the longest word listed in the Swedish dictionary.
Also, crayfish is just another word for crawfish. In Swedish we call them "kräftor" :)

Also, the whole Santa and the goat. Santa is somewhat new thing here. Like… 120 years or something. Before that, we hade the christmas goat, which hade it roots in norse mythology. We call christmas jul here, which is based of the word jule, which was the vikings winter solestice celebration.

I'm not sure about the recycling that several of those spew about. Here's what I think is going on.
Several places in Sweden (including my city) burns the true garbage - the leftovers after recycling is done - as fuel for heat and power, Instead of burning fossil fuels and instead of dumping garbage on landfills. Due to recycling being fairly extensive, there's shortage of garbage to run these plants. So garbage is imported for that.

      haha... not really.
This is due to protest votes. You can vote blank, meaning put a blank - totally empty - piece of paper as you vote. You can also use that blank piece of paper and write down a party that is fairly unknown and didn't get the pre-printed variants.
But a lot of people used to take that empty piece of paper and write "Kalle Anka" (Donald Duck) on it.
You can think of it as an old-time meme (before the word meme was even a thing), a running joke among the protest voters.
      Forbidding it is just silly.

"Hej CZcams pojke" doesn't make sense. The most you could improve it would be "Hej CZcams-pojken". But why you'd say that I don't know, to some CZcamsr I guess.
Haha, he said siffra elva, it should be nummer elva. He tried to say number eleven on the list, but we have two words for number.
Why did he pick pictures of IKEA with the flag half raised!?
You should react to the joik from Sweden's Got Talent.
Gift is not pronounced yeft, it's pronounced yift, as in the i in internet. He should have at least looked that one up. Though in my dialect you could pronounce it like that. XD
Kiss is not urine, but pee (noun).
He should have included "smorgasboard" when talking about word from Swedish in English.
I hate that they removed the Swedish number!
We don't import waste from Norway to help out, we do it cause we need it for our own energy.

Quokrey, right? The Russian submarine did eventually showed its ugly face in Karlskrona archipelago in 1981, when submarine U137 got stuck on the shore. Bastards.. And last the surenamnes.. Well that is just not true.. My suremane i 100 of years old and does not end with "son". That is just a hoax. That goes with lots of surnames in Sweden.. Come visit, why dont you? Welcome!
