Ferrata Marangoni a Mori. Trentino, Monte Albano

Percorso: partenza da Mori (TN), parcheggio sulla statale. Poiché l’avvicinamento è breve, conviene imbracarsi già dall'auto. Si sale in direzione del Santuario, alle pendici del Monte Albano. Si inizia con una arrampicata libera di 3 m, per raggiungere il cavo della ferrata Marangoni. Dopo il primo tratto presente una via di fuga. Il libro delle firme non rappresenta la fine della ferrata, che non raggiunge una vetta, ma salendo pochi metri si arriva nei pressi di un vigneto con aree per la ricreazione. Al ritorno si consiglia una visita al Santuario di Montalbano
Distanza: 6,5 km (anello). Dislivello: circa 500 m, da 190 m a 610 m
Livello: Sentiero EEA. La via è stata rivista nel 2014, attrezzata con numerose (eccessive?) cambre metalliche. Sebbene è diminuita la difficoltà tecnica, presenta punti strapiombanti, forte esposizione, un paio di spigoli da superare, roccia scivolosa in molti tratti. Non sottovalutare l’impegno fisico, soprattutto se la temperatura è alta, vista l’esposizione al sole

Route: departure from Mori (TN), parking on the state road. Since the approach is short, it is advisable to get in the car already. Go up towards the Sanctuary, on the slopes of Monte Albano. It begins with a free climb of 3 m, to reach the cable of the Marangoni ferrata. After the first section there is an escape route. The book of signatures does not represent the end of the ferrata, which does not reach a summit, but climbing a few meters you arrive near a vineyard with areas for recreation. On the way back, a visit to the Sanctuary of Montalbano is recommended
Distance: 6.5 km (ring). Difference in altitude: about 500 m, from 190 m to 610 m
Level: EEA Trail. The route was revised in 2014, equipped with numerous (excessive?) metal bolts. Although the technical difficulty has decreased, it has overhanging points, strong exposure, a couple of edges to overcome, slippery rock in many places. Do not underestimate physical effort, especially if the temperature is high, given the exposure to the sun
Equipment: helmet, climbing gloves, approach shoes, via ferrata kit
