When I lived in China, I used to go to the meat market (Bazar) to buy chickens, and always told the shop owner to hold the chickens while I do the Zabiha in the name of Almighty.

Well only those muslims in the country dominated by non Muslim can really understand how it is to live or be born in a place where everything you can get are not done in Islamic way. It's hard to say that one should avoid meet if you can't get the zabiha meat and stick to fish only. That means if you are going to spend your life time in such non Muslim city you will therefore have to spend the rest of your life not having a taste of meat. I really don't think many people can do that. Yes if one must eat meat one can get a chicken and slutter in the right way but the cost of a life chicken is not something everyone can afford. I live in a city where some people can barely purchase a life animal for their consumption once or twice a year. Brother life is not the same everywhere and I strongly believe that Allah knows best
Meat slaugthered by Christian and Jews is permissible according to the Quran:
“Made lawful to you this day are At‑Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods, which Allaah has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits)]. The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them”
[al-Maa’idah 5:5].
Meat slaughered by idol worshippers is haram. And Allah s.w.t knows best.
Most slaughterhouses in the west do not slaughter to Christian or Jewish methods so this is no longer relevant.

You still can eat meat in a Christian countries regardless of zabiha meat, as mentioned in surah maidah verse 5, that for muslims, food of ahle kitab are halal for us to consume. That is the Christians and Jews.

Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
তোমাদের জন্য মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, আল্লাহ ছাড়া অপরের নামে উৎসর্গীকৃত পশু, কন্ঠরোধে মারা পশু, আঘাত লেগে মরে যাওয়া পশু, পতনের ফলে মৃত পশু, শৃংগাঘাতে মৃত পশু এবং হিংস্র জন্তুতে খাওয়া পশু হারাম করা হয়েছে; তবে যা তোমরা যবাহ দ্বারা পবিত্র করেছ তা হালাল। আর যে সমস্ত পশুকে পূজার বেদীর উপর বলি দেয়া হয়েছে তা এবং জুয়ার তীর দ্বারা ভাগ্য নির্ণয় করাও তোমাদের জন্য হারাম করা হয়েছে। এসব কাজ পাপ। আজ কাফিরেরা তোমাদের দীনের বিরুদ্ধাচরণের ব্যাপারে হতাশ হয়ে পড়েছে। সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে ভয় করনা; শুধু আমাকেই ভয় কর। আজ তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের দীন পূর্ণাঙ্গ করলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অনুগ্রহ সম্পূর্ণ করলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্য দীন হিসাবে মনোনীত করলাম। তবে কেহ পাপের দিকে না ঝুঁকে ক্ষুধার তাড়নায় আহার করতে বাধ্য হলে সেগুলি খাওয়া তার জন্য হারাম হবেনা। কারণ নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল ও দয়ালু।
(लोगों) मरा हुआ जानवर और ख़ून और सुअर का गोश्त और जिस (जानवर) पर (ज़िबाह) के वक्त ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी दूसरे का नाम लिया जाए और गर्दन मरोड़ा हुआ और चोट खाकर मरा हुआ और जो कुएं (वगैरह) में गिरकर मर जाए और जो सींग से मार डाला गया हो और जिसको दरिन्दे ने फाड़ खाया हो मगर जिसे तुमने मरने के क़ब्ल ज़िबाह कर लो और (जो जानवर) बुतों (के थान) पर चढ़ा कर ज़िबाह किया जाए और जिसे तुम (पाँसे) के तीरों से बाहम हिस्सा बॉटो (ग़रज़ यह सब चीज़ें) तुम पर हराम की गयी हैं ये गुनाह की बात है (मुसलमानों) अब तो कुफ्फ़ार तुम्हारे दीन से (फिर जाने से) मायूस हो गए तो तुम उनसे तो डरो ही नहीं बल्कि सिर्फ मुझी से डरो आज मैंने तुम्हारे दीन को कामिल कर दिया और तुमपर अपनी नेअमत पूरी कर दी और तुम्हारे (इस) दीने इस्लाम को पसन्द किया पस जो शख्स भूख़ में मजबूर हो जाए और गुनाह की तरफ़ माएल भी न हो (और कोई चीज़ खा ले) तो ख़ुदा बेशक बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान

It's sad to say, but let us be real for sec, most people don't slaughter with the name of Allah. I was in slaughter houses many times and I don't think I even once heard it, only in Eid where I've seen people say it. That's in Arabic counties nonetheless.
Abroad though, I think the biggest problem is the fake branding. A lot of slaughter houses claim it's halal, but how much of it truly halal? Unless the butcher or seller himself is Muslim, it becomes an if (and sometimes you can't even trust fellow brothers as I heard people being scammed by them).
In other words, the only true way to actually have halal meat is like what sir above said; slaughtering it yourself, which is the best choice. (it's been a bit of an inconvenience though with COVID lately).
I think I never truly broken something forbidden or haram in Islam, but many times I came close to eating meat not slaughtered halal. It's especially difficult because I follow a diet and a schudule, it's honestly a pain in the butt, but I managed I guess haha.
In New York City, Halal food is available in food carts. Its $5 for a meal with meat over rice, a side salad, and sauces. The meat distributors observe all the traditions, and will not deliver on days when the meat should not be consumed, forcing all the carts city wide to only serve coffee.
So I'm not sure where you get this "not available" thing from. It is VERY available in the US

2:174- Truly those who hide what God has sent down and sell the truth for temporary pleasure, the only thing they’re doing is digesting Fire into their bellies! God will not speak to them on the Day of Judgement nor will He purify them, and for them is a painful punishment!
2:175- Those are the ones who trade guidance for ruin, and forgiveness for punishment. Those are the ones who are begging for the Fire!
2:176- That is what they deserve because God has sent down the Quran in truth, and truly those who argue over it are in extreme dissension!

The truth is if it wasn’t slaughtered by Muslims according to Islamic Law then it isn’t Halal and is Forbidden. This is same prohibition that is placed on Pork, also Kosher isn’t Halal.

I am from pakistan, I have heard myself the cries of goats and cows when they were slaughtered. So your logic that the animal dont feel any is wrong.
I believe our brain trigers the sense of pain and feelings from our nerve system and this system is connected to the brain through spinal cord. Thus your second logic is also wrong....
Why do you have to give these logics to defend that Muslims should eat Slaughtered meat??
We eat Slaughtered meat because Allah through is Messenger(PBUH) told us to eat the meat this way....

The question is why we today Muslim can’t live without meat? This is embarrassing. The prophet eats at most twice meat per month. When I learn a part of Islamic treatment , they told me one way to know if someone is possessed is he can’t survive 10 days without meat

The brother needs to learn how to slaughter in halal manner. . If possible buy your own sheep or goat or get other muslim brothers who can add to this. Then slaughter and share. .
