Delores McEachern Yess you can use different ringtones but only the apple's ringtones. There's a way you can put personal ringtones on your phone but I'm still learning how to do it. Plus the ringtone is loud.

Bought my wife an iPhone 6 and decided to keep my smallish iPhone 5s and its OtterBox Defender case, after reading the difference (not much from the 6 except the processor and screen, not much else) . Had the phone for quite awhile and the video helped me understand the 5 a bit better. BTW, my 5s is now updated to iOS 11.1 - Best presentation about the phone I've had the pleasure to watch so far.
No button but you can go into settings>general>accessibility>zoom them set it to on and if you double tap the screen with 3 fingers it zooms read the options to find out how to zoom in/out and move the place you are zooming in on

I'm going into the iPhone 5S from an iPod Touch 5th generation. I'm familiar with iOS 8, just not sure what the phone functionality is in iOS 8. I've never owned an iPhone before. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (AT&T, locked.) Stopped using it for its smart functionality. Just use it as a phone and a mobile WiFi hotspot. Android is very slow, unreliable and has many features that you will never use once.

Depends on the plan if your on ATT your should do ATT next so you can do monthly payments of less than 20$ for the 5s with 32GB. That will probably help out a bit and decrease the wait time greatly

It's called a proximity sensor. It only shows up on cameras. When you are calling someone and you hand or face gets too close to the sensor the screen will turn off you you don't press any buttons

Its either the proximity or light ambient sensor. The video camera picks up different image than what our eyes see IRL...I see this comment a whole lot on these youtube cell phone vids.... So much that its kind of annoying. Maybe you guys can answer this question for someone else in the future.
It's the infrared light. Any camera can detect it. It's so the phone can detect when your head is next to the phone during a call, or however else you want to use it.

check what the carrier was in your about settings , if there is no carrier it should be open to all carriers

Depends on the plan if your on ATT your should do ATT next so you can do monthly payments of less than 20$ for the 5s with 32GB. That will probably help out a bit and decrease the wait time greatly

What is the red light on ur phone?
It's called a proximity sensor. It only shows up on cameras. When you are calling someone and you hand or face gets too close to the sensor the screen will turn off you you don't press any buttons

Its either the proximity or light ambient sensor. The video camera picks up different image than what our eyes see IRL...I see this comment a whole lot on these youtube cell phone vids.... So much that its kind of annoying. Maybe you guys can answer this question for someone else in the future.

It's the infrared light. Any camera can detect it. It's so the phone can detect when your head is next to the phone during a call, or however else you want to use it.

Also something cool you left out with the camera is if you hold the picture taking button it will do a rapid shot of pictures until you release it.
