While Sneha kept on asking her how she feels about her newfound stardom again and again, Rajeev focussed on the craft. It's not just about nepotism, imo.. How many of us really go watch a movie like Raman Raghav in theatres? We sure do buy tickets for a megastarer flick and give them the 'opening' they don't even deserve. Ofcourse promotion/funding plays a big role but until we the audience start rejecting meaningless film and make the filmmakers aware of the need, it would never end.

    I remember the night I started watching Made in Heaven, I only left post full season and the one character that stayed put was Tara. I related to her on so many levels from right at the beginning where she is trying to build her identity different from her husband to move out of the tag of who just got lucky. The moment where it cuts through the right nerve, she's trying to fit in the society in all the flash backs seeking validation. And there were so many that I cannot count! For the first time a woman has been portrayed so raw and real that it's fascinating... And the one who nailed it is you. I would prefer a Shobhita than watching a waste of time eye candy heroines in the movies. Please treat her well, she's a gem!

I loved that even if she has manipulated her way into her marriage to a rich guy, she isn't some out and out vamp who's materialistic to the core. Yes some of them might be talented its because they all have been getting the best oppurtunitues time and again and ppl who have no one it takes years and years to get that one role and even after that success is not guaranteed. • @ifediran.
      @ifediran. Před 5 lety +6

      @@nikitamohan3390 look. I'll be honest with you. You can't force the audience to watch what they don't want to watch. The reason why the audience has been hooked on big commercial films is because that is all that has been available up until the advent of content driven films two plus years ago. Now directors are willing to take the risk of dabbling into different genres and working with upcoming actors and this is giving the audience a chance to choose what interests them because now they have an option. But nothing will change the fact that some people will prefer big commercial films with known stars and others will prefer the content driven films.
      We have to be realistic here.
      Also, nepotism happens everywhere you can't make these star kids apologize for being born into celebrity families, that in itself is unfair.
      Put nepotism aside and be objective, focus on the work of the actor and not what family they come from. Eventually water will find its level, things are already changing just give it time.

Suddenly the new age artist like Sobhita arrives on stage with all her poise & craft and we cannot help but marvel at the sheer purity of the moment. For generations we were fed stories of blue eyed stars, whose lives were nothing like us, and who were already placed on a pedestal from get-go that they didn't have to prove anything. I'm proud that New India has altered that dynamics. It's a delight to watch Sobhita. Can't help but feel even happier that a Telugu girl is impressing people across India with her talent.
