Long overdue and part of a suite of low emissions cars by FIAT. The 500 is the original micro car and great to see it still relevant in the 21st century!

Welches Öl braucht dieses Teil? Handbuch sagt leider nix, Internet bringt nur bedingt Ergebnisse über die Spezifikation oder Zulassung von Motorölsorten.

The sailing feature is interesting, but I have two questions:
1. How does the brake booster and steering servo work while sailing?
2. Why is sailing limited to 30km/h?
Power steering is electric
2. I am not sure but if the speed is above 30 km/h it might be more energy than the generator can consume

And how exactly are you expecting an electric fiat to work?
I've used a 500 hybrid on 2 separate occasions while traveling. It was my first experience with hybrids. And it doesn't make any bloody sense!
Why do you need electric power to accelerate from stop? It's not like you can't accelerate enough in 1st and 2nd gears as you can in any other car?
Now, the recuperating feature. I don't see how it makes any sense either. In a normal car when you lift the foot off the accelerator, the car can coast in neutral / gear. Here, the car starts to aggressively decelerates due to recuperation, and then you need to push the pedal again, thus burning fuel. How is it any good?
Plus, another feature is annoying for me - the car won't let you to switch from 1st / 2nd gears without pushing the clutch, because it turns off the engine when you shift to neutral. And then you cannot push the lever into the selected gear because the RPM = 0, and the engine won't turn on until you press the clutch - see, defeats the whole purpose.
Idk, the whole thing is just dumb. I'd understand if it used like electricity only in start-stop traffic, but the current application is annoying, and I can't see how it achieves anything.

I have one whilst on holiday at the moment. Fabulous little car, brilliant system.
Other words you can't drive Electric. So its called hybrid for nothing. I like the 4 cilinder engine more and its stronger for more mileage. 1249cc does not consump much 4.8l/100km
Just hired one of these in Spain and after already driving over 300km, I was wondering when the engine was gonna cut out and the electric cut in. Thought there was something wrong with it.
Not exactly a true Hybrid at all.
