im from germany and i went metal detecting once, heres the reason why: we only found old ww2 bullets (already empty shells but it counts) and i heard a lot of storys about people losing thier face/hand or whatever due to half rotten granades, bombs etc. Every year people find active bombs in thier gardens, forrest or Construction sites, it seems a bit to dangerous to me.
