@@TonyStark-fm2li A car with such "features", even if "turned off" are still wired into the car and retain function. Consider the "On-Star" thing, even if you never paided for the service, and can't use it, the car can still be disabled if requested by law enforcement as long as they have the VIN number, which is attached to the license plate number.
Also consider the large controversy regarding legal actions from any side, when the concept of self driving cars got near street level testing. If forced into a crash situation, where does the car place value? In the life, well being, and financial protection of the driver/owner or another driver? Does the car choose to drive itself and passenger into a tree at 60mph if someone jumps in front of it? Does it choose to crash into another car (without physical injury just monetary damage/loss) to avoid someone else's pet dog? Personally I never heard what answers came from that issue, that part just got left off the news and forgotten. It would have relevance with braking as well, if something forces the car to engage emergency stop, and a large, loaded cement truck plows through it, killing or injuring the driver, who is at fault?
Even something like a passenger airbag being turned off (correctly) for a young child still leaves a significant explosive charge directly in front of their head, very capable of killing them regardless of the severity of any collision.
Disabling something like that, fully, is next to impossible while leaving the vehicle functionable. Of course you always have the possibility of something like the movie Untraceable, where the car of a federal agent is hacked remotely just long enough to shut off, then while the agent looks around, the killer crawls in the back seat for a more traditional kidnapping. Sure, just a movie, an interesting, but not worth looking up movie, but still the concept and possibility is there, and again, next to impossible to disable completely while leaving the vehicle functionable (kinda like many of the "features" of Windows 10 that are less than optimal for privacy matters, but definitely vital for it to function... For some reason.
Lastly I do feel the need to point out, anyone still reading this serious of a rant, inregards to an offhand comment on a short, comical video... You REALLYA need to find better or at least slightly more interesting was to waste your time. Seriously, go watch something funny and laugh.
Why are you still reading? Go do SOMETHING anything at all, more productive or life enriching than reading pointlessly long comments on pointless videos!
