I love pupusas! Thank you for this video. I grew up in San Ignacio, but moved away when I was just a kid. I moved to a remote village Valley of Peace, home of the BEST pupusas. Valley of Peace was a designate area in Belize for refugees from El Salvador. So, it makes sense!

I watched your Belmopan video and you were going in the right direction and the young lady made you turn back and go back where you came from. The next time you visit Belmopan you have to continue in the direction you were heading. You were on the Ring Road. That would have taken you to the original parts of Belmopan.

This is my town! San Ignacio!! I walk those streets all the time to do my shopping, market days are on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays where you get great deals on items and sit and enjoy the food, was looking to see if I see myself, but since was Christmas Eve, was home baking all my delicious dishes! Hehe. Enjoyed this video

Try it if yo go there infact go to Orange Walk Town the Sugar City of Belize go to Dianitas Pupusas you won't regreat it they are from El Salvador too. My experience in san Ignacio locals are not too sociable and Dumbed down by local governments.
I see more light skinned Belizeans on the street. Is the area predominantly Amerindians territory.
Mestizos make up most of the population so you will see more light skinned than dark skinned people. Bit there are also a lot of dark skinned people too.
Belize the type of place you bring sand to the beach because they don’t have know baddies out that way
