There are may misleading statements by instructor. How can you say that digital number will only vary from 0 to 255 without mentioning the radiometry. The range of digital number depends upon radiometry . It will vary from 0 to 255 if the image is of 8 bit. How do you know that first few bands are visible and then NIR bands starts? This again a very misleading assumption. In Hyperspectral imageries, there may around 20 bands or more in Visible region. Dont mislead students. Your assumptions without any logic may be fatal. What is sigma +3 ? Surprised that you are explaining basic statistics wrongly. Several blunder ....Pls. have some quality control. Such lectures must be withdrawn immediately.
