Actually, it may not be so unresonable as one may think.
He can chose to save her and compromise their short-term chances of survival or escape with greater chances of survival what would be nedless to say benefical for Simon. That said Marcus at the same time demonstrated to be willing to abandon his friend/one of his people when it's convinient making Simon situation more uncertain as he may end in same situation and it'll be him who is being sacrificed and hence he may like outcome of this decision of their odds of surviving being higher but may also dislike that Marcus is willing to throw people under the bus as it may hurt his chances of survival in longer term..

1- You can’t control her so basically the best thing to do is destroying her revolution
2- Androids had a belief on Markus he gave them hope so even if he tried to be violent they will go after him unlike North , North didn’t show anything for them so they were just afraid from what she’s doing without Markus.
3- It’s similar to reason number 1 but the game can’t let you win so easily after you killed Markus you just can’t watch them winning without doing anything.
They gave her the same actions , lines and looking that Markus had so if she is a terrible leader then he is too.

Watching North's interactions with Markus, reminds me of that kind of girl that when she sees a guy that seems to be becoming popular coz he's good/talented, she clings on him and suddenly becoming the love interest... But when the said guy starts to be unpopular or hated by people she suddenly let go like "sorry I just realized I don't love you that much". I like North a bit but that's what she reminds me of and idk what that's called, but it's that type of girl.
Oh and I forgot, when people starts to like the guy again, the girl immediately spawns back and "oh you know I'm just joking, I really like you" then begins to follow him like a dog.

Alice Lenn They did just a horrid job of characterizing North in general. Markus’ story is easily the worst of the three as a result.
Lardo137 the only flaw in Markus's story was this character North. But I disagree on his story being the worst. There is no best or worst story they are all harmonized together. As a matter of fact Markus's story was the most cruical for the androids' fate. He is the best to me.

Simon literally tells you to leave North and if you decide to do, it affects the relationship with him negatively since a red arrow appears. Wtf?
It affects the relationship because he told Markus to run, and Markus didn't choose either "Run" or "Save Noth".
Markus didn't choose to run. He stayed and watched.
Glooring I'm guessing even if you choose Run, it still negatively affects your relationship. It's the same kinda thing with Hank : even though he tells Connor to ignore the evil other Connor and reactivate the androids at the end when the other Connor is holding him at gunpoint, it's a big boost in your relationship if you save Hank (and I'm guessing a very negative effect if you don't).
Basically, the rule of thumb is that characters will always support you saving other characters, whatever anyone of those characters say.

Remember Koba in Planet of the Apes...before he became more sentient, he had a grudge against humans more than any ape because of their cruel experiments on him. And driven by those grudges to make misguided decisions to make war against humans. North's situation is actually similar,only that her model was built to satisfy the simple pleasures of humans. Both Koba and North were acting on their hatred of what humans did to them before thus becoming one of their motivations to just simply fight. If you listen to Norths story, you can understand why she is the way she is.

Now you mention it, it is understandable the why of North's being. But, taking it coldly, is not useful nor the most intelligent thing to follow and therefore not an excuse. Her anger makes her act by impulsion rather than by reason, which explains why she fails as a leader.

Their arguments are mostly that Simon was supposed to be his love interest but it would be too much of paths so the team went with North and that she hates humans and wants to kill them while Simon always supports Markus. They don't even try to understand North's past, they just say she a *T H O T* (well, she was a sex-bot) while in reality she's traumatised and N E E D S some love. Heck, Markus' and North's caring relationship is the best thing to happen to someone with such a backstory.

I can't say I disagree on that. I'd possibly be the same way if I was in North's shoes. She's in a pitch black tunnel and Markus is the key to showing her the spark of light at the end of it.

Heck, Carl is a human and she offers Markus a dirty bomb. Then there's the way Simon constantly looks at Markus like he's the single most beautiful thing he's ever seen in his android life. Simon is willing to sacrifice his life for Markus more than once. It does happen, but Simon doesn't constantly try to pull Markus in his direction (he mostly just wants everyone to be safe). Then I feel that Markus is more concerned about Simon, like when Simon's shot at Stratford Tower vs. when North is shot at the Jericho. Markus' reaction when Simon survives Stratford Tower and returns. Most of Markus' nonverbal communication with North is looking grumpy and then randomly kissing her. The romance felt really forced to me.

Aidan 0904 If Simon is left on the TV tower, you need to make sure Connor doesn't find him. Then he is able to sneak back to Jericho. Also shooting the escaping TV person would make sure the SWAT team doesn't get there in time to shoot Simon. For earlier on during the freedom march, you need to leave earlier so Simon doesn't sacrifice himself to save you.

The only reason I kept North alive in my playthrough was because I wanted as good an ending as possible... Unfortunately I got Simon killed, though. But if I was just doing whatever I would have gotten rid of her as soon as possible.
