Thank you for telling us what the price was. Everything else was demonstrated well.
Great job as always!
Thank you so much
Awesome video as always!
Thank you I appreciate it.
Looks like a quality machine!
Great review I bought the Ultima ZT2 54 4 months ago no complaints great machine n the bagging system is awesome picks everything up no grass left behind and I don't have the vibration issue some people are complain about the ZT1 nice video with all the information needed before buying one 🤙🏽
That's great to hear. I am hoping to review the ZTX2 and 4. You get a tony of awesome features on those models right from the 6 without the very high price. Glad to hear you are loving yours.
@@SilverCymbal looking forward to that review learn a lot from your channel just bought a house about 6 months ago with an acre of land 99 percent grass n it gets very expensive with so many different products I'm not rich trying to be as efficient as possible every dollar i spend on lawn fertilizers ect your reviews n products helped me a ton and bought many of the products u reviewed based on your reviews n a little research my alert is on for your channel waiting for that Killer content thanks again for all the help n tips 🤙🏽
@@chinov9445 I really appreciate that. Even when I receive products I will not show products that I don't use, love or can guarantee work for viewers. Many of what I share has been trial and error and a lot of mistakes which can get expensive. I appreciate he nice comment and am happy I can help you use your money wisely and get a good value when you do.
Just bought a zt 2 50😎😎
Great video😀😃
Thanks! 😃
Personally I love the hell out of my Gravely Zero Turn but I'd love to steal the front wheel shock system.
Being disabled/paralyzed and in a wheelchair I love the ability to at least do that. It might not be much but at least it's something.
Worker's Compensation won't settle for anything reasonable, even after 21 years and with no cost of living increase I can't afford anything else. Basically it makes it where I'm going to run mine forever LOL.
If they gave you that and you didn't really need it I'll trade you hahaha. My 42" is in excellent condition and garage kept.
Buy a Walker ,made in America ( Fort Collins,CO)fantastic mowing and vacuuming ability I've been running them for years and can't imagine buying anything else.
cool cub thanks for great info ur new friend
Awesome buddy i like that mower it looks awesome
Enjoyed the video. Can you recommend something for killing bahia grass that's safe to use near Bermuda grass? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks WM
It appears to be a great mower with many features but for the price I think I would step up to an Exmark. Thanks for sharing
My experience with Exmarks has been very good. I owned a couple of Navigators and liked them a lot, sadly it seems like they abandoned that model but I have heard good things about their other ones too.
A good Exmark like the one I was considering was $15,000
This crushes exmark
☀️Sweet machine!! ☀️
If I had a big lawn I would totally get this.
It is good for a large space. You can cut at full speed with no issues.
Great vid as usual, do you like the cub better than the toro my ride you tested not too long ago?
Awesome channel brother ! Nice machine, but I prefer my kubota bx 2380. I promise u once u go diesel u will never go back to gasoline! I had a kubota g1800 for years, all I ever did was change oil, grease it every 50 hours and change the fuel filter every year for maintenance.
No worries. I like the diesels a lot I have a RTVX with their diesel and it’s excellent. Only problems with Kubotas is when people mess with them and don’t understand how they work but that isn’t their fault.
Two SC uploads in 20 hours! Life is good👍
Very kind of you. Thank you
Wish they had put these shock absorbers on the ztxs models
Great review, seems Cub Cadet put a lot of thought into the engineering. Cub Cadet wasn't a brand I would have considered seriously before but would definitely check out their line if my Toro ZTR bit the dust.
Thank you, I am completely agree. I thought they were out of the game a couple of years ago. They aren't the cheapest machine but the quality is there and I am very partial to the genuine Kawasaki motors too which they include on a lot of their models that cost significantly less.
Whats a good zero turn for hilly yard?
👍 nice
Looking for a new home with 5 acres so have an excuse to buy this machine...And only $7800 but dear...it is fathers day...😁
It is a lot of money and not so much at the same time. What I mean is that my Walker full commercial mower is 42", cuts very well and costs $14k. I make some money with it and that is why most people buy it but it rides like brick on a brick. Not fun. This Cub costs much less has commercial components and rides amazingly well. So long term for a big space like yours this might be a bargain.
@@SilverCymbal Dad bought a model 70 7hp Cub when I was a kid, (1963?) not sure the deck size maybe 34" thought I died-and-gone-to-heaven...electric start, 3 speed...prior to, was cutting 2 acre's with a push-mower...was never ending...lol! My grand-pop lived next door, he had 2 acre's also...deal was I had to keep-up both yards with the new Cub...no problem...😎
Stop giving yourself excuses to buy things you don’t need
@@impoppy1788 LOL! you been talking to the wife...thats what she said...🤣
Tom Dees I’m only 17.... I know how to control my finances
😊👍
Nothing against the Cub Cadet, but the Spartan comes with most of the same features and the deck is 7 gauge steel. I got a Spartan RZ Pro 54" deck and Briggs & Stratton commercial 25hp for a little over $5K.
Yeah I was l👀kn for 1 in Metro Atlanta, had to go pretty far to find. End up with Cadet
The cadet crushes that spartan. Who the hell needs more than 10 gauge unless you weigh over 300 lbs
Any clogging chute problems trying to decide between this and pro version with power bagger. I have lawn tractor now with constant chute clogging problems
Any updates on this?
Can power bagger be added on ultima? Or only pro models
Now that's an impressive slave fence. Tennessee?
Looks like that might be the first zero-turn mower you might fall asleep on...
Wonder if NHTSA or DOT will require rumble-strips along the sides of your yard to wake you up? LOL
What is the black thing on the front below the two LED lights and above the center spindle on the deck? Did you buy that separately and add it on?
That is a steel weight for the bagger to counterbalance the weight of the grass in the bags. Most baggers will include them
What could be the problem if the knob does NOT lower or raise the deck? Ours is brand new and will not lower. Thanks!
Do you have the knob in the "locked" position? That little knob that is by the adjustment locks the deck so it wont move.
👍👍👏👏👏💯💯♥️♥️♥️☝️☝️
its right at 9000$ right now!!
You get it for free but not that easy for us. Thank you though 😊
Better than the Toro ?
Yes but these two models are not apple to apples. The Toro competitor to this machine would have been their Titan which I have not had a chance to try yet so I can't say for sure. I will be hard pressed to find a better seat than this one. It doesn't look too different but it was like being on a Rolls Royce using it.
Silver Cymbal how does it compare to the walker?
That is a commercial motor on there...the titan doesn't have that kawasaki. Id buy the cub, i only buy kawi motors on every piece of equipment I have. This mower will last a homeowner a lifetime
@@suburbanacreage This is faster in open spaces than the Walker. But the Walker is better in very complex areas, lots of curves to do. It is a very compact machine. The blower is also exceptional on the Walker. The downside is the maintenance costs of the Walker and complexity and of course its $14k and up so more expensive. But depending on your needs can be a better machine if you are making money with it too.
No steering wheel ......
There new zero turns use hydrostatic transmissions my old M60 tank has modular hydraulics witch will last much longer
Hahahhaha best mower and cub cadet never in the same sentence. Biggest pos made
Why? Why are you calling it a pos? I bought this so when will I realize it's a pos? After how long?
@@af1966 I examined this ZTX654 very close and it is a quality machine, not what I expect from MTD,,and I just may buy one!! :)
@@Jay_Hall Not a POS at all!! The GTX series are great mowers. Maybe the big box models but NOT these! Heavy duty top to bottom inside and out. Now you're playing with power! If you need or want more, step up to the commercial line.
Oil change... yuk. Can't wait for decent electric zero turns so you don't have to deal with the noise and the ICE related maintenance.
You could get a Mean Green, but then it would really cost you.
What about Ego Power with 52" fabricated deck
