Not that we didn’t respect an accomplished player before but Dame has really taken it to a whole new level and I can’t help but be happy for him and admire him.
Well Russ got his triple double, all for what though? He got 50 on his head, took 31 shots, helped OKC blow a 15pt lead with 6min left, and took the worst possible shot attempt prior to Dames game winner (PG who was playing well for first time this series, didnt even touch the ball).

@@thebigtimechannel9927 Playing with Lebron means playing within the media circus that is spun around him. Kyrie didn't wanna do it anymore, and a lot of stars don't want to either. KD talked about it. You get the blame when things arent' going well and he gets the lion share of the credit when they do.
Look at what happened to the Lakers. He went there and immediately the media started chastizing the entire young core, discussing who was expendable, who was terrible and who wasn't pulling their weight. It's toxic to play around Lebron when the media is constantly looking for scapegoats for him.
And Lebron didn't do any favours this year as well with how he treated his teammates, trying to get rid of all of them for Anthony Davis. His leadership was poor both on and off the court. No motivation to play hard for anyone on the roster when your top player is out there scheming ways to get rid of you.
You won't hear that about Westbrook. The problem with Westbrook is all mental and coaching. Need a more dominant coach who can get through to Westbrook about his decision making. However, playing with Westbrook allowed Paul George to shine and have the breakout year he was having./ People were calling him the best 2-way player in the game ahead of Kawhi midway through this season. He was an MVP candidate. Do you think he would have got the same recognition playing second fiddle to Lebron? H'es trying to make a name for himself, not bolster someone's legacy, who has already done that.
So they went out first round. Big deal. That's partially because of Westbrook, but more because they slipped in the stretch coming down to the end of the season because of his injury. That's all really. If they held on to their 3 seed, they don't go out first round I guarantee it. It's easy to overreact but he's in a better situation than L.A
He's in the playoffs and when healthy with a contender.
L.A was a bad coach, a bad young core, and bad management with a single aging superstar as the supposed only draw.

How do you prepare for unprecedented play? Damian’s overall stats and play are so exceptional: 2nd most 3s by a player in the playoffs behind Klay’s11 in game 6 against, you know it, OKC. Still Klay had 42 points opposed to Dame’s 50 total and game winning, series closing shot.
OKC is pretty good team. There is a lot of history between these two teams. Respectfully: the level of play by Dame is exceptional.
