I did it. Finally, buzzed my head! In all honesty, shaving my head was Not what I expected. Today I’ll take you through the haircut process, what the dimensions are, my new hair style routine, Why I buzzed it, & what I wish I knew before I shaved it.
I’ve definitely simplified my hair routine & the way I’m keeping my hair healthy. I got some really great products that I strategically use on different days. So I hope you guys dig it!

I buzzed my long, curly hair recently and at first I was worried about a number of things, my hairline, my head shape not being good for the cut, etc; But I didn’t let my insecurities get in my way. And I realized that I had nothing to be insecure about. If you’re looking to buzz your head, do it. Don’t let your insecurities get in the way

What is authentic? When you are facing court, your lawyer knows you'll do yourself no favours with a buzzcut. Yet, it feels liberating. Yet on Tinder you'll kill it with hair compared to buzz (if you have even a moderate amount) It is a real head F...inside and out! Still I love to buzz...

I had incredibly long curly hair, I just cut my hair down to a buzz cut after realizing that I’ve only had this haircut for the sake of meeting other people’s standards. I took a pair of clippers and without even worrying about fading, edging it up, I cut it all off. Now it does feel odd and I haven’t seen the shape of my head for years, but I’m happy that I did it. It’s a first step in changing how I do things.
Where are you located? I'm in Memphis Tennessee. I would really love to have you cut mine, that short on top, with the back and sides shaved up high and close to the skin, and I would love to be sitting in a chair facing the mirror, watching you while you cut it.

You actually look amazing with this cut, I buzzed my hair off like a week ago and I love it, my hair was thick and hard, probably really damaged, I really love not having to worry about how my hair looks, not having to style this impossible hair, I used to be scared of putting/taking shirts off because it would mess with my hair, I still feel this sometimes and I'm relieved when I remember I don't have to worry about it

Ive always been super insecure about me losing hair...so i decided to live at the edge and just buzzed it all off. Touchwood ....ever since then..my hair has grown and it's doing great. Sometimes , you need to go into a zone , let things fall apart until they fix them back in place.

@@sagichdirnicht1558 i would suggest buzzing your hair and getting yourdelf a wooden brush from amazon they are cheap and great for increasing your bloodflow when you massage your head with the brush. They also brush every sort of leftover skin or flakes which can clog the pores on your head leading to hair loss.
@@sagichdirnicht1558 Im 23. From India. The hostel I stayed in during my college years supplied hard water which ruined my hair. Plus emotional stress , lack of sleep. The first and the most convenient thing that gets attacked is your hair.
I had buzzed my hair quite a few times, used minoxidil for a while, but used to get back to square one. Plus bad genetics,
But
1. Choosing a shampoo that suits your scalp , together with a ketaconazole shampoo to avoid fungal infection. Invest in it.
2. Take care of your digestion, as it plays a huge role in hair quality
3. Use a good hair oil , I personally used a mixture of castor , coconut and a bit of onion juice twice a week. Use something like dht blocking food in your diet, or something endemic to your area good for hair, in my case it was curry leaves
4. Don't shampoo too often , twice a week is fine for me
5. And lastly , don't worry. Take it easy, drink lots of water. This process does take time , probably 6-8 months or so, but you will notice your hair improving.
Buzz your hair off twice in this process , and try implement ing some remedies, remember it's importance to understand your hair texture and scalp. Then later on you can gradually grow hair back.
20 is too young an age to lose hair, it is definitely your lifestyle you need to fix. Touchwood it's working for me brother, I am starting to sport longer hair. Trust me itll work for you too.

I totally agree! I had long hair up to my top lip and decided to buzz it up. I was insecure, but I realized that go out of your comfort zone. Friends, cousins, didn’t like the cut, but I told them to go out of your comfort zone but they don’t want too. I feel like people try to compare themselves to others, but please I encourage you to try new things!
Bro, this is literally the first video I've seen of your's and I gotta say, every point you made is exactly why I shaved my head. Not only was it to be freed, but I also did it because I have extremely thick straight red hair. My health was at risk because of how much product I had to use just to make it look even partly decent. Such a burden has been lifted from my shoulders bro. Love ya man ❤

Grew up with a buzz cut, but began growing my hair out freshman year. That was nearly a decade ago. I was very attentive towards my hair, styling it every day. Constant product and blow drying started to recede the sides, where the box sits. I was on the fence of buzzing such for months, and finally conceded last month. For the first week, I regretted it. My widows peak is strong, so it looked like an upside down triangle. Lol. But as time has passed, I have been thankful for the change. My hair feels healthier. It’s easier to manage and maintain. As you said, I can apply more time towards more important matters in life. The buzz cut has stood the test of time for a reason. It always looks good, and it’s simple. If you are considering such, I say go for it. Glad I had.
i buzzed my own head back in december. i remember before that i wasnt feeling that good about myself, and let others comments take control of me. after i cut it, it took awhile to get used to. but after awhile i really started to focus on who i was and what i am meant for. i dont have a buzzcut anymore, but during that time i really got closer to myself and found great things. love your vids man :)

Dre, I’ve been watching your videos for a long time my man. Recently, the idea of joining the military has became more and more of a process than a thought for me. The thing was, I had long curly, wavy hair. Imagine Russ, and take his hair and put it on my head. Almost 2 years now I’ve been growing it out. The thought of joining the military and everything that came with it didn’t scare me, it was the cutting my hair part. I know, I know... sounds ridiculous. I’ve never been fond of the way my hair was and finally I found it, but I didn’t find what made me happy in life. I was terrified of cutting it all off and changing who I was, I put so much of my personality into my hair. Today, I took a buzz and cut it all off. Wanted to thank you so much for the motivation to do something like this. It actually wasn't my first intention but you know, being at home and without a pro hairdresser it was just hard not to and tbh we just went with it and yes. Honestly, was a very spiritual and cathartic thing. It took a lot of courage and it's a thing that makes you feel less fear and to live with less attachments. Been rocking a buzzcut since 2009 with no regrets. It really does feel freeing, and calls more attention to your face overall. That said, I don't think getting a buzzcut counts as "drastic," but I love the way it looks on you.

I buzzed my head 18 months back ever since it changed my entire behaviour of mine the way I interact with people the amount of confidence I gained most importantly my hair became so healthy than it was before . Believe me you wont be disappointed at all

If you guys are worried about it not looking good, then you should definitely do it 100% because who cares? I'm gonna buzz in a couple weeks to help my confidence because I know i'll feel weird and way out of my comfort zone, but that's where growth happens
You're right about the confidence. I once wanted to give myself an undercut but had a mishap so I had to shave my head bald, medium length to stubble. Needed about 1 week to get used to it and felt weird walking among the others on campus, thinking they might stare or make fun of me. However, I slowly started to feel more secure and more confident compared to myself before cutting it all off. Somehow I even became a little proud that I was the only guy with a shaved head in my course so in the end it really boosted my self-esteem. Now I don't care anymore, when bored of my current hairstyle or feeling like it I shave it from time to time and I think I'll give it another go next month.

Aman Jet i was very in between getting a buzz cut or a crew cut, but if you get a buzz cut it'll grow into a crew cut in no time. i was kinda scared at first but when i got to the barber i just went for it, why not right? it grows back

Man I’ve always rocked a buzz cut as a kid (as many other Asians) and I was so ugly lol. Now for about 5 years I’ve been rocking an undercut variation with a combover, middle part, side part, man bun, etc. to try something new, I’m going to try to grow my hair long like long long to the point to do a full man bun. I can’t do a buzz cut bc it really doesn’t fit my face shape and I’ve tried most other undercut hair styles. Wish me luck!!

I was so scared of getting a buzz cut, if it would look bad, how others would react to it etc, and epsecially as a girl getting a buzz cut, I'd say those fears are amplified, since that's not a thing you see that often. I used to Buzz my Hair all the time a few years ago but I've been growing it Out For the past 2 years. Even though it Looks really good the way it is I'm thinking about doing the buzzcut again Just for the super fresh Feeling you mentioned and the comfort that goes along with the buzzcut
