      I'm curious: When you popped the spring bar (around 16:35), the spring bar was pushing against the inner surface of the lugs, and you pulled them out. Doesn't that scratch the lugs badly and/or even break the spring bar?
      Edit: Oh, okay, I slowed the video down and you were compressing it while pulling it out. I'm just getting old and slow hahah

It now sits in its original box with cards and anchor because I don’t want to be shot wearing it. A $125 Parnis is on my wrist and keeps better time than the Rolex....moral of the story- if the watch is for enjoyment then take off the white gloves when handling it.

    • @stevewarren4292
      @stevewarren4292 Před 4 lety

      It could have been a couple of reasons. 1.) she was a salesperson and knew nothing about watches. 2.) they were going to keep any links they remove and try to resell them for additional profit. If you ever have links removed, make sure they give them to you. They are part of the "full kit" and they belong to you. I usually move links from one side of the clasp to the other until I get it the way I want it.

    I really enjoy London watch co. I do not know the host name. He is very very
    Passionate about his watches. Which is great.
    Here in the U.S. Rolex is treating their ADs very badly. To just open a Rolex store. The expense is hard to believe. Have to be in a high rent district, all the equipment/tools the watch maker needs, everything in the store that has a crown or Rolex marking has to be bought through Rolex. The thick books the AD have on hand. Pictures of watches they will never see. How long can the ADs continue sending money to Rolex for one reason or another and in turn Rolex is treating the ADS so terrible. Most ADs display cases are more than half empty. Then Rolex makes the ADs beg for a sport watch. Maybe one GMT shows up in an entire year. Sooner or later the ADS will get fed up with the games they play. To Rolex it's a game.
    However the ADs don't say a thing. One day this will come back to Rolex and haunt them. I'm speaking from experience having worn a GMT for over half a century. How can buyers be loyal if Rolex isn't loyal to their ADs.
    Keep making these videos.

    Hi mate, loved the video as always! Just wondering, can you use the Bergeon 7825 to reseat the spring bars when reinstalling a strap?

      Hey buddy! Thanks mate appreciate it! I personally would use the 3153 (pin side) and it’s quite thin but thinking about it the 7825 might be useful but in my experience it’s more prone to slipping hence scratching. Hope this helps 👍🏼

    Great video. Everest promotion was really interesting and the products look great. Really liked the removal of the Hulk bracelet. Some great tips. Thank you!
