As an Argus user, I always use the trinity full atk speed items. The reason is becouse those items are still strong enough to onehot squishies, combined with isnpire, as it was also great for pushing, which is a very important thing for my splitpush gameplan in general. The bulid might have a little less damage than the crit bulid, but due to it's flexibility, I like to use it in every situation.
Edit: Sorry, I didn't mean to represent Argus users. Maybe it created some misunderstanding, so I need to make it clear that this comment is abiut my unique Argus playstyle, not about how Argus users commonly plays.
I use argus but I use corrosion syth first item, berserker fury, demon hunter sword, melefic rour and wind talker is it bad
@@rolicemmanuel977 No, it's fine, Argus is a flexible hero despite can only bulid damage items and maximum of 1 def item if its really necessary (mostly not). Like, my playstyle is splitpush, and trinity suit me the best. Use the bulid that you like, as long as you like the bulid. Altough burst bulid with pen items are not recommended tho becouse he usually needs atk speed, but it still works btw.
DHS+ CRIT is best for argus

All you need to know is that -
Use critical build when enemy has a lot of squishy Heros
Use trinity build when the enemy has a lot of high health heros
I use trinity build all the time bro XD

@@youraveragejoe7526 It may be good but using critical against squishies is still better bc u get higher heal from lifesteal items. Trinity is for when u can bully enemies that struggle to fight back reducing the need for lifesteal.
I use scarlet phantom, DHS, Berserker Fury for Argus.
1st category, for heroes who mainly uses basic attacks such as Melissa, Wanwan, Claude, Badang, Sun, Hanabi, Karrie, Miya.. I use trinity build.
2nd category, for heroes who uses basic attacks on top of skills such as Layla, Irithel, Bruno, Popol&Kupa.. I use crit build.
3rd category, some heroes depends on enemy compositions, Moskov, Zilong.. as well as Karrie (it's usually hybrid tank or trinity)
And ofc, 4th category, some which have totally exclusive types of builds, like Natan, Kimmy, Clint, Brody and Lesley.
I didn't include YSS, Roger and Granger because you don't usually see them laning... Then again, I think Roger can use Trinity, crit and other types of builds.. YSS and Granger belongs in the 4th category tho.
Freya is a mystery..
Miya is particularly in the critical build now since she also uses her second skill to deal more damage.Other than that Moskov,Melissa,Miya,Hanabi and Wanwan are hybrid marksmans depending on the enemies composition.For example Melissa's core item is actually the crit build but she also needs attack speed to deal damage,which tells us that these heroes likely to deal attack effects rather than one type specifically
@@DumplingKhaii that was 11 months ago, which I believe was before the whole crit build was changed (Scarlet Phantom being removed and dragon warrior spear being added)
the only downsides about the 2nd trinity build the Crit + attack speed build is that its going to be having a hard time dealing with tanks but imagine Lesley with it 💀💀
Lesley with one shot build is better than trinity lesley.

Fun fact: Golden Staff can also gain Freya's orbs by 3 in every 3rd basic atk with this item, making her buffed 2nd skill more spammable.

First thing you need to know that you ussualy need all 3 items in Trinity to deal DMG and having 2 of Trinity is probably weaker than having 2 crit items but once you get combo you will deal DMG i saw many people playing agressive with only 2 of items and guess what they did nothing and just kept dying delaying them from getting full combo

*DHS Trinity*
>> demon hunter sword
>> golden staff
>> corrosion scythe
*Crit Trinity*
>> windtalker
>> berserker’s fury
>> scarlet phantom
*Pen Trinity*
>> blade of the heptaseas
>> hunter strike
>> malefic roar
damage trinity

moskov pierce attack "crits" isn't really crit in the same term of crit from say berserker fury.
it's mainly to differentiate the damage from his projectile and the pierce, since the pierce always deals more damage (scale with moskov's level) and always depends on the amount of damage done on the main target

The downside for argus using dhs trinity build is that it is only good on attack speed but and doesn't have enough burst damage
Argus' basic attack is better when you have both the attack speed and burst effect.
